Because of some problems I'm in the middle of a move and I had to store my mustang for a few months with about 100 pounds worth of stuff in the trunk

I am worried having the car be stagnant with the weight in the trunk will mess up the independent rear suspension. But there's nothing I can do about it now as I can't go back to Minnesota where the car is stored.

Worried when I get the car the suspension will be bent and the car will drive crooked

Will it be ok?

It will be just fine. It's only 100lbs.

Doubt it will hurt anything. But if you want to worried about it just park it with an empty fuel tank. There’s about 100 pounds right there.

Better not drive it, as having your weight in the left side might give it a lean.
Mid to late 90's Gangsta lean..... Tweaked drivers seat brackets.....

That's like a full tank of gas, no issues.

Maybe don't fill up the tank quite as much before storage to offset some of the weight.

I drive my mustang every day with 100lbs of tools in the back. I drive it hard and even every 60-130 I've done has been with the weight back there. Your fine parking the car. No worries.

Ah, a throwback reminder to the old Foxbody lean…thanks for the memories!

The S550 lean just doesn’t sound right….

Wait a minute. As a younger man I did not appreciate Low Riders (and went to high school in San Jose, CA). As I grew older, I learned to appreciate Low Rider builds and the culture. These cats put one helluva lot of time, engineering, and money into their rides. And I am not even going to mention the art in the paintwork (there I just did). I am a 66-year-old white boy who would never build one, but I respect the hell out of what they are and represent.

By the way, this is a really cool Impala and if someone left it to me after they take the dirt nap, I would be honored to have it.

Not disrespecting you RagmopinKona, I just think that Low Riders are cool.

I've always appreciated all types of the car hobby. even if it wasn't my thing. They care and love their rides as much as any other group.
