Did i mess my motor up ?

I broke my fuel rail bolt inside my engine and tried drilling it out… can anyone help me out and tell me what part i need to order to swap it out ? or if there’s anything i can do at all to fix this ?

Get a small drill bit and drill into center of remaining bolt. That’s a starter hole. Then get an EZ out drill bit that has reverse threads.

Try this method, but I would get a thin piece of sheet metal aluminum (maybe even cut a piece from a soda can), flatten it out and make a little hole in it to put over the nub that gets welded on, so that when you put vice grips on it to turn it out, you don’t mar up the cylinder head.

thank you for the quick reply but i believe i’m too far gone , i drilled too deep (as shown in the picture ) and my anti freeze started leaking out. (the green liquid) , what part do i have to change out ? i think there’s no saving the part so i wanted to see if there’s anything i can change it to atleast save the engine

Did you drill into the coolant passage? If so, you have an issue on your hands.

i already tried and ended up drilling too deep i was trying to show that in the picture but antifreeze is everywhere and keeps leaking

Drain coolant. Obtain a blind helicoil. Drill to the proper size and tap the hole for the blind helicoil. Install heli coil with a liquid sealant. Use a small hose in conjunction with a shop vacuum and get the coolant out of the runners. Once repair is done, I'd crank the engine with the spark plugs pulled out before actually starting.

If you mess up the heli coil and continues to leak, a new cylinder head may be needed.

You can buy a new/used right side cylinder head and swap it out. You might even find a used one for sale on here.

You didn't ruin the whole engine, well yet. You probably have ruined the head.
I think I'd skip the maybes and go straight to a new/used head. No questions then.

IMO looks like you should pull the head. MAYBE a cylinder head shop or a shop that can heliarc weld it if posssible. If not, then hell, it’s already off, then you can source a new/used head. The only plus would be that once the head is off, you can then be certain the cylinders on that bank won’t have coolant in them. Then definitely dump the oil; reinstall. Sorry to see this happened to you. That truly sucks.
