Technical Subforums > Issues, Repairs, Warranty, TSB, Recalls check engine light
User 'JPaul' discusses the misfire issue his GT Premium has , and the fact that it is back in the dealer service center for the second time.

My question to the group is: Have you had the "Check Engine" light come on with your new Mustang? If so, what was the problem and has it been fixed?

I post this because I don't think "we" read the Technical Subforums. I just happened to stumble across it. With my GT Premium on its way, I am concerned that such a problem may be more wide spread.

Thank you.

No issues 300 miles, may want check and see where the gas came from, be crazy if it was just bad gas.Short and long term fuel trims would tell alot.

The man drives, what can he say.

If I didn't travel so much I might have over 2k on mine. Alas I only have over 850.

None

Actually, I haven't heard of any major mechanical issues with the 5.0. By this time in 2011, the number 8 issue was running its rounds around the net.

Good so far. Problems like the one Moody has are worrisome.

No check engine lights. Naturally some will have issues in something that is mass produced.
