Oh one more thing. Right now where I live it’s 115f. Been like this for over a week and they say it will be at least another week before we get a break. But it’s a dry heat don’t you know. RIGHT!

What you guys need to remember is the differences in humidity and dew point. SLC at 108f with a dew point in the 40’s and 50’s is much more tolerable then Manchester England with a temp over 100 and a dew point around 90. Plus almost all the homes and businesses there don’t have air conditioning. I know how that feels having lived in the Florida panhandle in 1970. Back then the only air conditioned place was the movie theater.
Oh I know, I can't imagine how miserable it is over there right now given it's much more humid, and there's hardly any escape from it. I'm not even trying to be insensitive, it really is catastrophic heat over there. But I don't see the harm in joking around about it since that's all we can do :)

I've lived in a few different climates, desert heat is much easier to tolerate because you have shade and air conditioning.

Ikr? :) but yeah. We left with our two kids in the back seats. My 11 year old actually rode in the front most of the time until we dropped him off in NE and then we put my mother in law in the back for a trip to gulf shores from AR which is about 1100 miles round trip :) my wife slept in the back seat from Dallas to AZ yesterday with her feet in the center console.

Our 11 year old And my wife are about the same height at 5’8” and our 8 year old is 4’6. The passenger seat was slid forward to accommodate but it worked out well!

The trunk was another story cause it was a game of Tetris at every hotel stop!
Funny, the mother in law goes in the back!

I don't care what anyone says about dry heat. When it's 107, like it was here a couple of days ago, everything is baked, and the heat radiates off everything. There isn't time for it to cool down. Its dry, but it's still hot.

Don't forget to disable the yellow release in the lid.
We don’t get that handle in the U.K. - our cars are mother in law friendly … :like:

I'm used to it in lower Alabama, just that time of year. 95 degrees and 65% humidity. Yay...

LOL. 65%. We would be tickled to only have 65. It’s 9am here and current humidity is 87% already at only 77 degrees going to 92 Today.

It's the same here. 70's or 80's in the morning, humidity 80 or 90%. As temp rises humidity lowers into 60 % range, which makes 95 feel like 105.Its currently 82, feels like 92, 80% humidity.

Got you beat, it's 83 with 90% humidity for me right now. Glad I work inside, it's got to be brutal for those that don't.

Very nice but watch out for those curbs! I just scrapped the bottom of my front splitter on one of those and my stang is not lowered...

had to open it up on the highway this morning to create some space between me and a challenger on my tail. spotted this orange challenger about a half mile behind me on local roads jockeying to get behind me. I hate tailgaters. I wouldn't consider it a race since I started with a car length on him when we pulled onto highway. just had to create some distance between us. I shut it down around 80 and let him fly by. Surprised the MT82 shifted flawlessly between 2nd and 3rd!
