But the Predator engine will remain in production for the Raptor R….This exactly what ive ben thinking. If this is the last year of the predator engine and the last SC v8 GT500 I think GTFORMULA is correct about values jumping up the same way GT350 values did when the GT500 was announced to be auto only.
I would guess at least a 2 year run. Maybe a bit longer depending on emission changes. It'll be interesting to see what, if any, changes are made to the emissions sytem on the Raptor version of the Predator. In addition, just how long will the engine be available in the Raptor, two years maybe?
They mentioned before that it would be a low production model. That was before shit hit the fan with shortages. It'll be interesting to see what, if any, changes are made to the emissions sytem on the Raptor version of the Predator. Couldn't they assign '22 vins and roll on? I know a person that got their '21 the first of this year. Which would suck but beats nothing at all. That'd be a whole nother can of worms with requisite certifications, etc. I don't see it.
Or, you could have a beer and think about doing that.If you spend some time at the EPA and CARB websites you see the endless labyrinth of requirements for a given MY in terms of emissions testing and certification. It gets complicated fast.
