What are they going to be doing the first quarter of 2023? Will there be NO 2023 Mustangs, since we know the S650 is slated to be a 2024?
I seriously doubt there will be no 2023 mustangs. Ford will not allow the break in years on the car. That is what it holds over Chevy and Dodge, the mustang run is uninterupted. It may only be a few, but there will be a 2023 Mustang, count on it.

As to the M1 production numbers you talked about earlier. HP prod stopped in October, and non HP in November. Even if they build into Dec, there is only 5 months past July, not 6. And I do not think we've had 2k produced already this year. If we look at this forum as only 5%, which lines up with last year as well, we've seen less than 5 been delivered so far, and less than 20 built. MAYBE 500 have been produced so far. I doubt we'll see another 500 completed before July shutdown.

Given where I see things headed for the later part of the year, I doubt we hit over 3k this year M1s total. And I hope every single one of those goes to someone on this board.

agreed except for the numbers and dates, unless you are talking specifically HP. non-hp is probably around 1500-2000. I do applaud the other guys optimism. Literally a month of no scheduling and those that have dates inevitably get pushed back week after week, those that get built hang at the station for weeks. I think the order books will close in a few months (or days to weeks based on other models) but non-hp production goes into november-december.

In the recent past, new models were introduced in April (magic date for Mustang)and started delivery in September. If that holds true, we'll have a shortened 2023MY that might include hold over Mach 1s that were ordered in 2022. I can't imagine that there will be S650s at the dealers until the end of next summer, or well into fall.

Spoke to Ford performance this morning, the website still shows in production but they told me on the phone that the car is produced and expected to arrive at the dealer between 6/2-6/9. Can anyone point me in the right direction for tracking the shipment of the car?

agreed. think we'll see a few month long 2023 model year, with a few thousand cars total, and seea fall release of the 2024 S650.

Received an email from Granger Ford financing that my car is in transit and i should get ready. I was like wtf? my production date isnt until week of 5/23, so I checked the Ford site and sure enough its in production. Not shipped so not sure why i got the Grainger email.

But I never received a email from Ford that its in production. The other thing is I checked the Window sticker and it shows the increased pricing and not the pricing from when I ordered in October 2021.

Anyone know whats up with this?

Happened with me on my 21 order. Didn't even know it was built and shipped and my buddy who works at the dealer called me via facetime and showed it on the truck getting unloaded.

Yes is was a bit more than Mach 1. I know just another thing to worry about fading or rubbing off. Lol
Could just put some small piece of clear vinyl or some sort of clear protection rectangular deal added onto across it.

I guess they do not build the cars in sequential order of the VIN. My VIN is roughly 500 more than yours, and my scheduled build day is the 28th of June.

Got the shipped notification. could really be as soon as 2 weeks! Of course, the truck I was supposed to sell to make the down payment and give cash for the PPF/CC decided to shit out on me last week. So I somehow have to get that fixed (rebuild the high pressure oil system....again...) and build a garage all very quickly, while I live out of town/away from home 5 days of the week.

the dealer I order thru is a small-mid sized dealer and I’m the #1 Mach 1 order they had, first in line..

i think part of it is, that the dealership just isn’t prioritizing my order in favor of more profitable orders they have - dealerships can prioritize to an extent of what orders they want filled first, pretty sure mine hasn’t been moved towards the front

also to consider, someone a few pages back mentioned that total Mach 1s, unofficial count, was like 1,500 or so in 2021. at best, probably 1/4-1/3 of those were HP orders. that’s like 30 Mach 1s total per state. take into account states like CA, NY, NJ - the super large dealers there probably got more than an even split of Mach 1s

end of the day, this latest Mach 1 is certainly going to be a rare and collectible run. Especially the fully loaded optioned HP ones
The dealer I ordered from is a small multi line dealer. I was the only one who ordered and didn't really have an issue getting mine outside the long wait. I was the only one who ordered from them and they don't get many mustang sales there period if at all in a year. They also made 6313 Mach 1's which has been said on here quite a few times. My chassis number was M5011.

FYI, I am thinking they might be working a few days ahead of schedule for a change. I have a scheduled production date of 5/30 and a blend date of 5/31. When I tracked my car on Thurs 5/19 I had a note that it was being manufactured at one of our facilities and that it could take a few days. My window sticker was available as well.

The "M" or "N" is the most important part of the chassis # because it denotes year of manufacture. Chassis #'s are all over the place. Wonder how long until you see some other chassis plate on a car that didn't come with it.

I'm sure the dealer won't mind having your Mach on display for a couple weeks. Granger seems to be cool with what ever it takes as a lot of people have there cars shipped home, and getting it picked up can take 4 to 6 weeks plus right now.
