The website says the links have Spheriflex bearings...what are Spheriflex bearings?
That is our patented bearing system, we use a ball thats surrounded by two teflon impregnated delrin races(we call these crowns, because they look like a crown), that are backed by stainless flat wave springs. These Springs keep the crowns tight up against the ball, so as they wear, they stay tight and quiet.

Spheriflex provides all the benefits of a standard spherical bearing, without the increase in NVH. No greasing, no noise, and completely rebuildable (although no one has ever had to rebuild one, in the 8 years we've be selling this bearing).

Something like this product lineup;

No thats a standard spherical bearing, which we use fk's teflon lined spherical in our front upper control arms for the challenger platform. Fk makes top of the line spherical bearings, but they have their limitations.

Spheriflex is a different animal, User disassemble-able and rebuildable, and while the teflon cloth in spherical bearings can be worn down with street driving, the springs inside keep the teflon impregnated delrin races tight on the ball, so the bearing is as tight after 50,000 miles as it was day one.

This is what the spheriflex looks like, these are built into the part, so no additional housing, the part itself is the housing.

After putting quite a few miles on it now, ZERO NVH. Rear also feels much, much more planted. Highly recommend them !!
Year later and still no noises / squeaking / NVH.

Is the alignment affected by changing the vertical links?

Anytime you change suspension components you should get an alignment. How much it changes ? No idea.
