I would just use a historical approach because it has the best basis for what is likely to happen in the future. Take a nice GT today and compare the difference in value to a Boss 302 or a Boss 302 LS. There is a quantum difference between a 2012/2013 GT or a 2012/2013 Boss, with the Laguna Seca models showing especially strong values.
Take your nice GT and compare a rational value to another limited model, the Mach 1, and I believe logic will turn you towards the Mach. I would view the " Handling Package " akin to comparing a GT to a Boss LS.
The V8s may likely go on longer than we all imagine, but even Ford Engineers and Corporate are indicating the numbers built will be in much smaller numbers.
