C&D is generally useful to compare cars year to year because they use standardized procedures and corrections. It’s important to compare their numbers with their numbers.

all else being about equal, incl weight, a 4% hp increase is about a 1% trap speed increase which is about right per their test numbers. It’s a tiny difference.

I don’t have gen3 or a Bullitt/M1 and it’s a tiny and almost irrelevant difference other than under hood appearance and bragging rights. But it’s surprising how many people think the gt350 IM is somehow a cheat or swindle by Ford. It has shorter runners than the 18+ and will make slightly higher power at >7K rpm, but won’t help peak torque. Ford didn’t put it in the B/M1 to cheat buyers of those cars, just as they didn’t when they gave the Bullitt a similar bump over the GT in 2008.

I agree, just throwing that out there.

Had my Ford garage install the performance upgrade. 3yr/36k mile warranty if a Ford garage does it, so I said why not. Pretty cool. https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/m-9603-m8b.html

I’m considering getting this perf kit installed on my 2021 thru the dealer because or warranty also… but seems very expensive here in eastern canada. Approx 2200$ incl taxes and install. Also, im not comfortable leaving the vehicle there….hmmmm. Does anyone have cost for canada?

Buy the parts yourself and have the Ford dealer put them in. It only takes 4 hours or so to put them in, so it's no longer than a full day to leave your ride with them.

New Brunswick…. Any suggestions are welcome as long as the job is done by a Ford authorized shop… ideally a professional shop accustomed to performance cars. Thanks

If for no other reason than consistency and the transmission, these are entirely different cars. The sheer amount of coolers on it would net you better 1/4 mile times after the 2nd pass and the Tremec is the replacement Ford has needed for the 5.0 this entire 6th generation. Apples to Oranges.
