These cars have port injection in addition to DI. The port injectors should do a good job of keeping things washed off and cleaned so I vote not necessary.
If you want to avoid comparisons I’d avoid comparing a PP1 with magneride and a trans cooler to a Mach1, different cars with different performance, appearances, and price tags.
I “skipped” break in on my 6th Gen SS and it would burn a quart or so every 4K. I followed the engineers guidance on my Mach1, doesn’t burn a drop. So maybe it’s random idk.
I think the areo contributes to down force, straight line speed not so much. I think the 350 has the edge there hands down. Both legit cars that accomplish the same thing differently.
Damage to the tread won’t cause a blow out, most of the rough edges would probably wear down pretty quickly with heat. I vote send it so long as the side wall is intact and it doesn’t extend deeper than the tread blocks.
In terms of feel, no, in terms of measurable performance, yes. You’re actually better off with the A10 in the performance department despite being down 40 Peak horse power. The 350’s longer legs would eventually upturn the better low to mid range torque you have and over take you on VERY long...
No hate, just wasn’t a huge fan of the snide remarks referring to ADM, or of somone trying to make fun of me purchasing the whole vehicle instead of the bumper.
most of what I mentioned are take offs from the GT350 or GT500 and even though the car was only marketed aa 20 extra PEAK horsepower, actual Dyno comparisons have it closed to 40HP across the entire power band with some added torque too. It was never a whose better comparison, my apologies if I...
This is what I was referring to with the cherry picking. When it comes to a track car, things like improved front and rear subframe cradles, toe links, steering ratios, spring rates and bushings matter. Sure a better transmission with a shorter gear ratio is noteworthy, but the whole is greater...
I’ve never driven the PP2. That said I love the Mach 1 and there’s allot more to the total package than the individual upgrades I’ve seen singled out in this thread so far. I’d buy it for the cosmetic upgrades and numbered chassis alone (if exclusivity is your thing). Bottom line, the Mach 1...
Based on what though? I’m aware of the power decrease for 2022 models but I assumed it was due to emissions/ tuning, not an actual difference in hardware.
