Has anyone tried the G4-95 head unit in a mustang yet? I'm sharing my results even though this is an LS3 based motor. The power potential could actually be greater on the higher flowing coyote motor. And since we share the same exact head unit, you might find it useful.
This is a Dart 427 with Frankenstein M311 Heads, Edelbrock Pro Flo XT intake manifold, 103mm TB, 2 inch headers, 3 inch exhaust, E76, FIC1300 injectors (maxed), triple 450 fuel pumps, and a McLeod RXT1200HD clutch. 3.73:1 ZL1 rear. 207mm lower, 90mm upper. Surprised me to see intake temps barely reach 105 degrees at the end of each pull.
1st pull was with the stock ESS Tuning air filter and piping.
2nd Pull was with the filter and piping removed
3rd pull was with the ESS Tuning Trumpet Air smoother installed onto the blower. The Trumpet actually came off around 6700rpms, because I didnt use a clamp, otherwise it might have made more.
(Its like the ProCharger Pro Volute)
All 3 pulls have the same exact tune, no changes. 20.5 degrees of timing and around 21#s of boost. No meth needed, just Pump E.
