What tire will give a better combination of dry traction, wet traction, and tread life for a daily driver?

None. You need a set for dry traction play time and another for daily driving. You are not going to grip from a dig on any tire made for daily driving

I don't plan to, it's a daily driver only. If I end up wanting some track wheels, the Weld Venturas I bought are cheap enough that another set won't be a big deal, and I would do 17" rear and 5" front at that point. But I would also need axles and a driveshaft, and the trans would be a time bomb. So I don't plan to go that route.
