I might be reading that thread wrong, but it seems like they're having different issues than what I'm having. Mainly the pedal going to the floor, which mine has never done. Am I reading that post wrong maybe?
Clutch pedal is fine, not low at all. The clutch was replaced less than a year ago with a Lethal LPX twin disc. It should be fine, but I'll be checking it out soon. I bought a new master, slave, rear main seal, trans input shaft seal, and master cylinder hose that will all be going in soon. I'm...
My first thought was air in the system. I checked the hose at the master cylinder that's an issue for so many, and mine wasn't pushed on all the way. I pushed it back on (I'll be replacing it with the Steeda hose soon) and pumped it a bunch to try and bleed it, but no luck.
The pedal feels...
I have, it's always at the max line.
I forgot to mention, the clutch has been replaced with a Lethal LPX a little less than a year ago. I also have a stainless braided clutch line. Car is procharged making 750whp, in case that helps.
Over the past two weeks I've developed an issue where the trans often doesn't want to go into gear when at a stop. I have to pump the pedal a few times and then it goes in just fine. When the car is moving I have no issues changing gears.
My thought is the slave is going bad, has anyone else...
The tune has performed pretty well except I get some bucking right at 3k rpm and light throttle input. PBD keeps saying it's compressor surge, but that's definitely not what's going on. I've sent quite a few logs and still no fix. They've said everything looks great with every log I've sent, and...
I don't plan to, it's a daily driver only. If I end up wanting some track wheels, the Weld Venturas I bought are cheap enough that another set won't be a big deal, and I would do 17" rear and 5" front at that point. But I would also need axles and a driveshaft, and the trans would be a time...
I appreciate the info. I'm not expecting full traction, but if it's usable I think I'll be happy. I talked to Procharger about getting a bigger pulley to bring it down a bit as I'm concerned about the transmission, but they said I could only go one size larger on the pulley because of hood...
It looks like they didn't log fuel pressure, just fuel trim. I'm not going to pretend to know how to read this stuff, but if somebody wants to see the log file I can provide a link.
Not with a Procharger, the power comes on in higher RPM. I've been driving it on 275 all-season tires for several days now without any issues. Can't go more than about half throttle though, it just spins like crazy.
We'll see how it does though. Coworker has an 820hp Z06 and says he gets...
Without, only fuel system mods are pump and injectors. The BAP is a band-aid solution compared to just replacing the pump with larger one, and that's a band-aid compared to an actual fuel system upgrade. I've never liked the idea of a BAP, but that's all VMP will tune on which is a big reason I...
This one is the Stage 2 with the Procharger intake, and the standard BOV. I ordered part number 1FW202-SCI-H-P1X. I have a list of every part that was installed, if anybody needs it. Down to the pick up tube gasket and valve cover bolts (to add bolts where Ford skimped on it).
