recently did my brothers 2018 using this product. came out great! we're picky. remember, like any paint work prep is everything...and patience. we painted on the vehicle. we did not worry about any surface that was not visible i.e. back side, but can be done. there are some great vids on this product. powdercoat requires dismantle
pt.2 my bro reminded me that we painted over all edges with only a small area in the back centers left alone to conserve paint

I got mine done a few weeks ago. A local garage that does car wrapping, tints and specialised paintwork did all 4 for £200 ($270). At that price I’m sure they didn’t actually take the calipers off and just masked off the required parts and areas like I would have done if I did them myself. However, for 200 quid it wasn’t worth my hassle. I was a bit worried about how they would come out, but they’ve done a decent job and I love the look of them. I would recommend getting them done but I’m not sure I’d pay over a 1000 bucks when you can probably do it for cheaper.

OMG!! I have done several cars over the years.
Unless you track you car, high temp paint not needed.
Rattle can of your fave color (clear coat too is a plus).

painting is easy part. the prep is the work. Cleaning and masking.

Are you saying the GT350(R) calipers will bolt onto a GT? I thought what they bolt to was different.
Please don’t get hurt by this statement.
When you’re on the GT350 specific forum, things can get a little confusing when you’re not talking GT350 specific parts.

This is all you need. I painted my Calipers almost two years ago. (1) can of brake clean, (1) can of High Temp Paint, (1) can of clear, and (1) package of new Decals. Total cost $24.50 and about 2 hours of time.

You need an adapter, several companies make them.

I installed GT350 calipers on my GT along with the aforementioned adapter (from LMR) and the Caliperfexion stud kit.

Definitely NOT find them at the prices you suggest. Provide a link if you have one...
They were under $600 earlier this year when I bought mine. They went up slightly, now they are about $640 + shipping.

You will need new crush washers for the banjo bolts.
You can do it on the car, without opening the brake system, a little time with painters tape, and a cheap h/f moving blanket to keep overspray off everything in the wheel well and fender/bumper cover . Unless you are going full tilt show car. no one will see that you got paint on the copper washer between the bango bolt and casting.

Far easier to remove the caliper and do it right.

...but you do you.

You need is posted in another language ?
I said you don't have to break open the braking system to paint them. Not that I would do it that way. Frankly I don't see the need to bother it doesn't make the car stop any faster or help cool the fluid in the caliper. But that is me, if someone else wants red/yellow whatever color on theirs, it is their car, not mine. If I paint them it will be when I'm doing a fluid flush/change. and have to crack the system open.

Perhaps.

Indeed, you can paint them on the car - Approaching Captain Obvious territory here.

It is easier and takes much less time to just remove the caliper and paint them properly on a bench. Unless of course you don't know what you are doing regards the removal process.
