For what its worth, Powdercoating is not paint. Rather it is a form of plastic coating that is great for somethings but not brake calipers.

Yup, dropping off the car, they do everything, I pick it up a few days later. Is that you dropping off the car? Or you taking them the calipers. I probably had an honest 7-8hrs in removal, prep, spraying, and reinstalling. That included rebleeding the brakes. Doesn’t include the several grand in spray guns(don’t need high dollar guns for calipers), compressor, tools necessary, etc.
How'd you do it?I've done a couple sets myself. They came out great IMO as well as other people's 2 cents. G2 and some diligence. The powder coating thing sounds great but I don't like taking things apart until need be and it's costy for a part of the car that gets grimy daily.
Here's my examples.... $50 bucks, a few hours, and get back to living.

I purchased the G2 brake paint kit on Amazon for $50. Put the car on 4 jack stands, pulled off all the wheels, sprayed the calipers with the cleaner included in the kit, wiped it down extra clean, used painter's tape to cover all the areas I didn't want paint on, take some photos with a tape measure so you can put the new Brembo stickers in the correct spot. then painted all 4 calipers. Be prepared to do it all in one sitting. There's plenty of paint in the kit even though it's a small can. Follow the instructions but I recommend an extra couple of quality brushes. After you do the last caliper, go around and touch up all of them again. Get the painters tape off before the paint dries completely. Wear gloves... the paint is epoxy 2 part and it's going to get on you. It might look rough at first but the paint dries smooth and glossy. Be patient. Give it 24hrs to cure and slap on the decals. Here are some photos...How'd you do it?
Agreed. If you're going to get the G2 kit make sure you will not be interrupted during the painting process. I came dangerously close to ruining the last coat on the last caliper. I wish I had thought of splitting it....minimize issues if I ran into any delays.

FWIW, G2 will match any paint for a fee. And they offer a DIY spray device for around $15. May take some back and forth if they haven't matched your color before. I was their first Velocity Blue. They demanded that my color be available thru some other paint supplier. So I had to convince that site to add VB first. G2 swears they don't get their components from xyz so your guess is as good as mine why they require the color to be available from xyz company as opposed to BASF, for example. That’s not a bad price considering what’s involved. I’ve used the G2 setup in the past a few times, and it comes out decent. It’s a good cost effective kit. I wanted mine matched to the body color this time, and for me it was just as quick to remove the calipers as it was to tape it all off. The sprayed application looks as slick as the body paint, but that’s the ocd coming out. Worse case if you tried the G2 and didn’t like the outcome your only out a few bucks and a little time, airdraft stripper takes it off real quick and easy.
