did you get to the bottom of your fuel idle issue?
Still working on it. I'm not 100% sure if changing the in tank pump to a larger one will fix the lean code issue because my stft's are on point and the car seems to run pretty well.

What did you do with the vacuum lines that came off the stock intake? My 15 had 3 connections and only 1 looks to get used in the kit.

@Brevin_G4_SS There's an allen head bolt that isn't immediately obvious as to where it goes, for those who completed the install perhaps you can advise me which location it is destined for? See image below: (red arrow)

Did you ever find out where this bolt goes? I can't figure it out either

I can't say for certain because I have a 2019, so it wasn't used on my car. I think it is specific to your model year though and you should reach out to ESS and ask them where it goes.

Also, the 2017 will use the t-fitting vacuum hose connector that comes with the kit, unlike the pics of the 2018-up install's.

Is anybody running over 800whp with this kit? G3 is advertised to make 950whp but the lowest pulley indicates 12psi on 110mm. Seems low to make over 900whp.
I ordered a G2 about a week ago and got an email last night saying it shipped. Excited to install and see how the car does with a 8.5 and a 9.5psi pulley on 93.

Probably will need 15+ for that, does griptech make a pulley for them?

At 800whp you will start running into the efficiency limitations on the G2 Unit. There's a guy in this thread that is just under 800whp on a 50% blend of ethanol and is on the 11psi pulley, I believe. If you're wanting more, the G3 would be the recommended unit.

The G2 on the 8.5psi pulley and good 93, maybe a splash of octane booster and you should be North of 660-690whp. To get over 700whp you'll likely need a little more octane. MS109 comes to mind.

On one can of Octanium octane boost to a full tank of 93, I see 18-20 degrees of timing up top, which for me is probably somewhere high 600's.

I'm currently fuel system limited with the stock pump and a BAP so I am upgrading to the DW400 pump and plan to run the BAP on the DW400 also.

I'm running Lu47's, but I would recommend running 1000cc for future expansion and upgradability and wish I would've went that direction initially.

I figured G2 caps out at 800whp due to lack of efficiency but how can the G3 make over 900whp when the max psi is 12 with the smallest pulley offered with the kit.
I don’t know if grip tech makes a smaller one for the G3.

I don't see any ess pullies at griptec, though they have a wish list. The hub and pulley makes changing a pulley easier, and the pulley itself does well to reduce slip. Enough people ask and they might make some.

Because max airflow on the G2 unit is 1300cfm and the G3 is 1600cfm, so at the same boost level the G3 unit is moving more air and more air mixed with the correct amount of fuel will make more power.

From what I understand based on what you are saying is that the G3 at 12psi and e85 should make 900whp+ because it flows more air?

Paxton CFM is around 1700 and it takes 16psi+ to make over 900whp.

Hopefully ESS has smaller pulleys for the G3 kit that aren’t posted on the website.

This is all out of curiosity, either way I will stay on 93 for a while and am excited for the kit to get here.

If you upgrade to their 10rib drive system they have pullies as small as 80mm available.

I'd also take the psi ratings of the pullies as a general guideline and not an absolute - I've seen 11-12psi on my 9.5 one.

Definitely a Great Question. You Need to contact ESS and ask them how you are to make up to 900rwhp on a 12PSI Pully? Something isn't right. Keep Us posted
