And the FW meant that when driving on crowned roads, the rear of the car steered the whole fucking car (FC). Top gear at 65 MPH, mash throttle and the FC would move into the lane to the right. Off the throttle and the FC would move back to the left one lane. It was really that bad on one particular freeway that has crown, and in general power ON sent the FC to the right, and releasing the throttle would steer the FC to the left.

It's called Steering with the Throttle and it's the #1 reason I take my car to the track.

I don't even think about practicing technique on the street. One bad move can turn your whole life upside down.

Magneride is great because you have adjustable shocks at the flip of a switch. Soft for DD, stiff for the track.

I think your primary improvement is from locking down your cradle.

Check my sig - GT350R bars, CB005, and 275/40 tires at all corners. That's it. Instructor got my car up to speed in a few laps and confirmed it felt neutral and stable.

Most glued on emblems can be safely taken off with flossing string. A bit of goo gone will remove the left over glue residue.

The Porter Cable is pretty nice. It's basically fool proof, but that does mean it's not super aggressive and some things can take longer. But it's safer this way as I've only just started using one myself.

I just received an order of high quality micro fiber towels (my second batch). I want to get to the point where I have enough of them to run laundry with each type separately because it's better for the towels. One set for exterior wax/polish work, and one set for liquid work (detail spray or window cleaning).

buffing pad maintenance is important too . Clean em after use. Saw a program with Chip Foose discussing buffing, and its new pads every time. Course with his money ... why not lol.

Once ive used the microfibers for buffing support or applying ceramic detailer, they are washed, and only used for other duties - eg tires/wheels, interior detailing, etc.
