If you really want to go that fast your going to need more power and longer legs. Plain and simple. Its takes a exponential amount of power to fight the wind drag every mph or kmh. Your going to need more cooling for your whole drive line and areo parts that add downforce without a lot of drag. Like those gigantic spoilers people put on a trunk. Such as a front splitter and rear diffuser. Not that crap that looks the part. The stuff that is made for the job. Lowered and level car would be better. Lifting the back end of the car will throw off your aerodynamics as well as let the air get under your car easier. You want as little air under your car as you can get.

See if there is somewhere you can put your car in a wind tunnel to see how the air flows by the car. Thats going to be the biggest thing about stability.

Ya'll know a member here has done 300Kpm in an extremely mildly modified Bullitt, right? Right there on Germany's Autobhans?

According to that poster, it's not hard. It required nothing but a tune/intake/IM. Hit 300Kpm in 5th gear.

really now? The TUV inspectors don't patrol the auto? Or check out cars when they come off at an exit?
Safety and power modifications to cars have to get the approval by TĂśV.
And patrol checks do happen especially if they spot a car driving at 300km/h+.

In a nutshell the rule regarding speed on the German autobahn is this:
https://translate.google.com/transl...iki/Autobahn-Richtgeschwindigkeits-Verordnung

80 mph == recommended speed ("Richtgeschwindigkeit") on sections that have higher or no speed limit, meaning:

If you crash and are were driving too fast in a section without limit and faster than the recommended speed, then you will also blamed for causing the accident even if you were not the original cause for the crash since you were not driving the recommended speed.

Here's a bone stock 2019 GT convertible very easily hitting 162MPH.

Another 24MPH should be easily doable in a coupe with just a few modifications.

Although one should be starting with a PP1/2, Bullitt or Mach 1 vehicle. Not a base GT.

It’s what I have been saying from the beginning and his insurance will deny coverage

The guy don’t even know the laws in his own country…pretty embarrassing

My recommendation is to consult an EXPERIENCED tuner who has specialized knowledge and experience in the Ford Mustangs EU / DE equipment variants:

a) https://auto-hentzschel.de/products...19-inkl-teilegutachten?variant=29045718941814

or

b)
https://www.schropp-tuning.com/mustang-tuning
https://www.mustang-tuning.com/mustang-6-fl-2018-2021-lae/leistungssteigerung/kompressor-kits/

or c)
https://www.asch-mustang.de/

All three are excellent and have significant experience.

Beside that I find the OP's behaviour towards other members of this forum embarrassing, disrespectful and impolite, and I assure you that it is not typical for most car enthusiasts from Germany.

Make sure you have a backup buddy who can post here when your 183 attempt possibly goes wrong.

I don’t think the S550 can be 100% “safe” in stock form at an attempted SUSTAINED speed of 183…

Very interesting information but this did fall short of the specific high value information Im looking for from performance upgrades or experts. Its nice you can recommend someone else who could provide the info you lack. I should point out you discredit yourself and those you recommend when you start making a snowflake rant about your emotions. Last thing anyone needs is an emotional instable tuner working on big boy upgrades.

Read through, and the best advice was @dx2 recommendation to contact Peter Schropp. I know him personally and can say without doubt that he will give you straight scoop (picture below of my 1st GT350 in his old shop).

I would recommend visiting him. He will tell you what you need, and if you prefer, he will obviously do the mods for you. He's not cheap, but his work is high quality and his expertise when it comes to racing Mustangs is untouchable in Europe (recently put a team in 24hour NĂĽrburgring). If you call or email, you are not as likely to get good answers--interpersonal relations matter.

As for hitting 300kph, as you know, it's not a big deal on the Autobahn. You're experienced, and the car will warn you well in advance if it can't get there safely.

@shogun32 interesting comments. What did you do when you were in uniform, and how many TĂśV inspections have you been through? Just curious.

OP doesn’t seem to want to go to the experts as a few of us have recommended. He wants a bunch of strangers on Internet forums to give him the expert advise he seeks.
