Help! Digital Dash is black and not working

There is a difference, actually. I assume you are in Poland? If so, your country would obviously use the metric system, and U.S. spec Mustangs do not. Even though the gauges can be set to display a secondary speed reading in mph if you have a metric car, and kph if you have a U.S. car, the primary speed readout is not changeable, and is meant for the country that the car was imported/built for. As such, there are differing part numbers for Metric vs U.S clusters; Auto vs manual transmission, etc.

Also, the cluster itself has seen changes since 2018, because there was a recall on early 2018 clusters (per last link in Bikeman's post) So there will be updated parts available.

Can't say for sure that you buying a metric cluster from where you are will mean it will or wont work. However, you are safer with providing your VIN to a U.S. dealer's parts department, and ordering a new cluster via that route.

I don’t want to buy a new cluster. I’m just looking for a way to solve it without changing my cluster. The cost of new cluster is 2k dollars which is 7.5k in my currency. I hope that I can solve this issue

Yes I hope you don't have to buy a new one either they cost A LOT. If you do have to buy one, hopefully it's a worst case scenario.

That makes complete sense but my question is why did his digital dash stop working in the first place? I have stored cars for much longer than 4 months.

More times then not there are no answers, shit happens . Car stored, battery went flat, most stored cars have some sort of battery tender. Cars like planes when stored, shit happens, these are built for service .

The scrambled display makes me think it could be caused by moisture .

Roll down the windows, sit the car in the sun, drive with the heater running . Did I read the screen NAV center was also not working? Not thinking some software up date will fix that .

OP search the web see if there is a repair service for the cluster. Just sent the cluster from my truck in for a repair, digital features were not working.

For sure you did not get a legit answer from the dealer, if that was one. US made or overseas sales, the code for the dash and all things digital are written, developed by FORD that is a given.

The suggestion to use the VIN as the key to the door is a very good one follow that advice.

OP's issue is the local dealer in Poland won't touch the car because it's a U.S. spec imported vehicle, so they're throwing their hands up on any other further service.

I would call Ford customer service, I don't see why sending the car to Poland would void the 3yr/36,000 mile warranty. Call quick before your 3 yrs are up.

Is the car drivable, or will it not start either? Have you inspected the wiring in the engine bay area? I’ve actually seen first hand, where rodents have eaten through some wiring on a vehicle before, causing problems with the ABS system. Apparently, some of the coating on wire sheathing in vehicles is made of soy based products and is quite tasty to rodents. Being in underground parking or a cave, it’s almost certain there are rodents roaming around. Just try and do a thorough inspection on your own and if you find something that looks to have been chewed or gnawed on, then you can attempt to identify that circuit and see if it correlates to your problem.
