Remote start is not working (1x horn)

Hi guys,

i would like to ask you.
I have Ford Mustang 2016 3,7 US and if i tried to remote start nothing happen. Only car once horn and that's all :-(
I don!t know what is wrong. I have two remote keys and it's not working on anyone...
Can you help me what i can check... or what it could be wrong :-/

I had the same problem on my 2018 PP1... it ended up that the hood, while it looked closed, wasn't. Opened it and re-shut it. Typically, one beep means a door isn't completely closed.

All doors and hood are closed. But my car was damaged to hood... it could be problem with hood sensor... i don't know
Remote key is flashing red...
Where is hood sensor? Or is it possible to circumvent hood sensor?

if any door is open or check engine light on it will not start

I've changed ajar sensor, but still same :-(
I've tried connect basic OBD diagnostic and checked my vehicle, but no error codes.
Do you have please any other idea what i can try to fix remote start?

When that happens on my F150, I change the battery in my remote even though all of the other functions work fine.

So, this may be an obvious question, but is your S550 a manual trans or auto trans? I have not seen that asked or discussed.

If it is a manual transmission, it didn’t come with remote start, only the automatic trans has remote start.

Wait….I just reread the original post and realized OP has a 2016 V6. Did that model even have a remote start option?

Never mind. Yes, it does, with the A6.

My Mustang has remote start. I can turn of remote start function from display menu in car and after that if i try remote start - nothing happen - no horn. If i turn it on... still one horn... i dont know what is wrong. I have two remote key with remote start function but noone works... I've bought simple OBD diagnostic but when i checked my car - no error found. Maybe i need better diagnostic...
