And unless I missed it in this thread, have you tried to disconnect the battery, let it sit for 15 mins and reconnect? Sometimes doing so resets multiple BCM's in the vehicle.

My guess is you or the shop already did this..?
It was flat when he arrived home, said it was recharged it but did not indicate if it was removed to do so, the BCM could be in play.

Yeah, I mentioned this back at the beginning of the thread. He tried, no luck. 🙁

A recent picture. I called many dealer but no one dealt with it. Ford’s are saying they don’t have authorization to American car’s and 450 dollars just to diagnose even if they won’t be able to fix. Freaking Poland.......

Have you contacted FORD, all dealers denying to proved a service for their product ?

Does not compute, WTF could the reasoning/logic be for it. ?

What IF you needed hard parts for the car... what then? Ship to the US to have a water pump replaced .

I just came back home from a FORD dealer. They said, European Mustang’s and American Mustang’s are different. I called few other FORD and they’re all saying the same when they hear about car is american.

They don’t have parts, programs or any kinda access to American imported Mustang’s. They can take out the screen and check if there’s any electric problem in it but even if it won’t fix the issue, they’ll take 450 dollars for just diagnose and provided service,, which I can pay a little more and order a new cluster... doesn’t make sense for me I don’t know

This does not make senses, and is why I'm asking about FORD's answer. A dealer is not FORD, just a sales outlet.

It is a Mustang, the driver position, external lighting, and some other items may be unique over seas.

For instance a display that the driver can select metric & us reads. Is the same part, and computer code that allows it. No matter what country the car ends up in.

I think for whatever reason (maybe trying to push you into buying a new car) you're get the run around.

A Mustang is a Mustang they are all built as a Mustang. Body, drive train, 4 wheels.

Who knows may be they lack the common sense, it my take to work on a left hand driver car.

Hope you can get a real answer...and a fix

Doruk, we can totally understand your frustration as we all have had issues with service departments. But as Rapid Red said you need to go directly to Ford corporate. I gave you the number awhile back. And as a last resort try calling Ford here in The US.

Dealers, in general, are lazy. They do not want to do the work. They need to be pushed. Since you are unable to do it the push has to come from higher up.

By the way, although there are some differences between cars made for export and those sold in the US, they are all made in Flat Rock with essentially the same parts.

And lastly, they do have access. It called a computer, a fax machine and a telephone.

I am willing to bet the digital dash is the same part used on Canadian cars. Programmed for metric. That display issue looks like a hardware failure. But maybe a hard reset or re-flash would restore it. BTW there is no way a re-flash of the firmware to the digital display would make the car undriveable. The worst case is the display module gets bricked and it is already non-functional so what is the harm? The dealer is just scaring you so you will go away. They clearly don't have the expertise to fix it. Any Ford dealer should be able to use IDS and re-flash the firmware. Contact @breeves002 He might have a suggestion as he is our resident digital dash expert.

And on a lighter note, Poland is not so bad :

FYI, in Poland the steering wheel is on the left. It appears their Ford dealers are every bit the assholes American dealers are.
I just called the number you gave a while ago. Some stupid woman was talking to me. She said they don’t have access to US builted mustangs and they need license for it. Like a joke

I had dozens of conversations like this on our FB Mustang page (from Poland) No EU dealership will help you. As many many people had issues with cars imported from here, nobody will work on it/respect warranty/TSB's etc.
We all know it is almost the same car, but they just can't work on it. Liability, no equipment I have no idea what it is, they just won't. Best bet is to call HD- Customs. They might have a solution and might help.

IMO best place to service/upgrade your American Car.

Was this car purchased new or is it a salvage-fix?

Remind me of the grey imports of the 80’’
Was exactly the same, no Us dealers would touch any of those European cars
