First mods to your Mach 1

probably going to shove some weather-stripping or something in this ghastly gap. I sure wish Ford had gone back and made the 2 parts actually fit together.

Dude that’s awful but what part of what vehicle is this? Unless I missed it from an earlier post somehow.

Bottom of front bumper where it wraps around towards the tire. If you look at your own car, there is a spacer in there. It appears that gap was intentional

perhaps. Or they put the spacer in there so that the parts were not flapping around loose. Maybe there was an air-flow mixing reason for the channel but surely they could have closed off the top so it didn't look like such ass.

Seems to be a trim piece that is actually creating the distance.

Seems to be there for aero purpose

PP2 wheels 10.5x19 and 11x19 for 4x 650 € (TPMS sensors another 175 €), I like them more, same design as optional wheels (which would be for winter) and lot easier to clean and wax than HP bird nest wheels.
I didn't dig deeper since it's lot premature, first want to know the car as is and then contemplate about changes, probably not even this year.

I'd been looking at the PP2 wheel package as well as I want wider tyres, and also prefer the simpler design.
I thought I'd need to get them shipped direct from the US - a dealer order would make things so much easier.

There's only one thing that concerns me a bit, as according to CJ Pony Parts:
- The M-1007-DC19105MB and M-1007-DC1911MB sizes are intended for use only on vehicles originally equipped with the Performance Pack Level 2 option. Although these will fit on other 2015-2021 Mustangs, use on other vehicles may result in tire-to-body/chassis clearance issues.

As the PP2 has mag-ride etc I'm hoping there won't be any clearance issues.

I've only found the Ford Performance version in black but the original PP2 colour is 'Dark Tarnish' which might be different to Mach 1 'High Gloss Magnetic'. Did your dealer mention the colour?
In any case, a repaint isn't hard to arrange, presuming they are available and they fit!

sadly the Mach1 didn't come with the wider haunches ala GT350, but the PP2 wheels will fit just fine. You might try a domestic source for the LMR 'SP2' clones since they come from China and surely there are all kinds of importers who deal with the same factory.

I haven't went to details since it's not matter for this year, plenty of time next winter to figure this out. 375$ vs 650 €, omg... The dealer mentioned "Ford Performance Parts" for the wheels too. As long as they're dark I think I'd be fine with any tone of black/gray.

for that price why not look at aftermarket alternatives that are much lighter as well?
Also you will have different offsets available and sizes

It was posted in the forums (and in earlier topics since it's GT500 spoiler).
KR3Z-6344210-AA is the wing, KR3Z-6344210-AB is the gurney flap. You can buy it from Ford dealers but it's rather pricey (1000$ for the wing, 125$ for the gurney flap).
There's also version in carbon from Anderson Composites for almost the same price.

And there's good aftermarket replica but it doesn't have the gurney flap, but mounting holes match. More here.

For those contemplating the spoiler change as discussed above here are the US prices quoted directly from Ford.
Wing - $1,518.08. Gurney Flap - $181.17
I’m still looking for the numbers and cost of the front splitter that mirrors the handling package.

I'm OEM man myself, don't really like aftermarket and especially Chinese replicas. I like the design of the PP2 wheels. The LMR SP2 clones could do, I guess, but I don't see them available in Europe. Anyway the price is fine for me, it's just bad that everything is cheaper in USA, haha.

Same here, prefer OEM parts and appearance, that's why I waited until I could find OEM PP2 wheels. But Ford Performance sells the same PP2 wheels as came on the cars, just in black instead of the dark tarnish. Same widths, offsets, everything. The aftermarket SVE SP2 wheels have different offsets from OEM.

Gotta meditate on that a lot Still, importing original ones myself shouldn't be more costly than buying Ford Performance wheels through dealer, so the choice would be clear.

I don't think the Ford Performance ones are replicas like the SVE's... I think they are the OEM wheels, just painted black instead of dark tarnish.

But since weight is the same and paint is done properly, it's Ford Performance brand, they're as good as the original ones, really. Just matte black. The dark tarnish seems to be very dark gray which would fit Mach 1 better.

Hmm I have the original PP2 wheels, not sure I’d say they are dark gray, more medium gray. Would personally prefer black if they were on a silver car but I think they look good on other color cars, especially black. They look darker in shade and lighter in light...
