I have found that my tires last one hell of a lot longer not driving like a 15 year old idiot.
True. Fuel consumption improves massively, too.
But you don't buy this car to worry about tires or gas. You buy it precisely to drive it like a 15 year old idiot.
You want to be a responsible, mature driver? Get a Honda. :p

Or pick up a road course track day habit. Your fuel consumption will still be way down the in the single digits but you'll either learn to not over-abuse your car's tires or your tire guy will put you on his speed-dial.

Do you guys recommend all seasons over summer tires for me if my Mustang is just a daily driver? I was just thinking that they are cheaper and they wear better, and the difference in grip wouldn't be that noticeable unless I'm really pushing it. I already have snow tires that I put on in winter.

Fuck no.

You have a PP1 car.

Hell to the no.

Summer tires for summer. Winter tires for winter. All seasons for the sorry saps that don't drive when they drive.

Even here I put AS3s on mine in the winter, for one simple reason, the PS4s get all plasticy under about 50F and spin like hell.

I can't wait to get them changed, wet and cold for the next few days so they stay for now. Next week, I may swap them out.

Ooof. But...the guy driving in the left lane was not paying attention. I'd have moved over seeing the cars in the breakdown lane.

Nobody was paying attention. Not the Mustang driver, not the driver of the car in the high speed lane, and not the guy walking with his back always to the oncoming traffic.

What could possibly go wrong???

But if it's any consolation, it's extremely doubtful that Tesla's Autopilot and Ford's similar system in the Mach E could have done any better.

I'm not so sure about that one. The problem with the whole autopilot concept is not the autopilot itself, it's that it's not very hard to outperform your average human. So even if the system is flawed, it'll still look really good considering the alternative.

(8) Are you guys interested in a Mach E review from a 2020 GT500 owner? | 2015+ S550 Mustang Forum (GT, EcoBoost, GT350, GT500, Bullitt, Mach 1) - Mustang6G.com

To say nothing about the Tesla that either couldn't see the broad side of an 18-wheeler or figure out how to deal with it.

As if humans don't do such things.

Hint: They do, and more often.
Humans don't make those errors systematically. Some of us might screw up any of those video'd errors once, but we tend to learn from such mistakes (hey, stupid, don't forget about the ditch even if you don't mind running over the mailbox and figure you'll be able to miss the utility pole).

Ford's current attempt at "Autopilot" - at least in its current form (which is kind of important right now) - is clearly repeating errors in trying to figure out where the lane is going. So it throws up its virtual hands and wants to plow straight ahead.

I usually agree with most things you say but there's clearly a bias here. Maybe I sit on the more pessimistic end of the spectrum but people absolutely do not learn from their mistakes. Most are likely to be in denial about it and just cause the same accident again. A perfect example is the person that cuts you off, revealing a splendin smashed in rear bumper/quarter panel. It doesn't take much of a guess to figure out how that happened.

My mom is, actually, another great example. She's had 17 car accidents in her lifetime. Seventeen! And she, I shit you not, claims not a single one was her fault. Unfortunately she's not the exception. She may be an extreme, but not an exception.
