Hi, I've been having trouble getting my traction control and rev limiter to mind its own business and was wondering if anyone has a solution. The car is a 2017 gt pp. I've tried in sport and track with both traction control and stability control off. My problem is that the car cuts power when spinning and also when getting to redline, is this normal? Does it always interfere regardless of settings? The only time it seems to leave me alone is when using line lock. Thanks for any advice, I tried searching but I'm not the most tech savvy guy.

Keep the switch pressed for a few seconds until the indicator light up in the dash.

When you say it cuts power, does it make a noise or feel like a rev limiter? Mine will make odd noises on hard acceleration sometimes... i cant narrow it down, and ive never had a car that cuts timing.

It cuts power just like it does a redline. I don't want to babysit the tach as I'm spinning the tires and doing doughnuts, it's super annoying when accelerating and if you don't shift fast enough it falls on its face too. I just want it to hold power at redline and be able to completely disable traction control. Has anyone had luck tuning this out? It also has the roush performance package (intake, exhaust, tune) could it be the roush tune affecting it?

You could disconnect the plug next to the air box (for traction control and abs). Then it’s on you if you lose control and crash. The rev limiter is probably changed in your tune. Cheers

On my car this is the only way to completely get rid of the nannies.

I'll give this a try! I only screw around in open unpopulated areas so not too worried about crashing, I'll plug it back in when actually driving. Thanks.
