There are different versions of P Zeros tailored to applications.
So I wonder what application Ford wrote on the 15-17 spec sheet ?

What politically correct wording did they use for ‘Crowd killer’ .... ? :cwl:

Disclaimer : I have no experience of that tyre, only what I read on here :like:

The Pzero Neros that came with my GT are awful. No bite at all. They are truly designed for crowd hunting :)

They are standing up okay & I hate to waste good tires but I doubt I'll be able to tolerate these until their normal life's end. I may go Michelins next but would like to stay with a high performance all season instead of going summer only tires so I can get the 3 season use that I actually drive the car.

Dunno why the hate for Pirelli. ......
Because the PP1 Pirelli tires on the 15-17 cars were shit in comparison to the Michelins on the 18-20 PP1 cars. Pure, unadulterated shit.

Seriously, keeping it all in is bad for your mental health. You need to let it out. We’re here to help. :like: 🙂

I had P Zeros on my PP EB. They were great, unless it was below 50 or raining, but it was a summer tire, so ya know. Now Conti DWS 06, those are the bees knees.

You win an award for most nonsense post in this thread.
There is tons of different tires that are superior to these depending on application. And lots of equally good alternatives for daily driving.
NO! only these 3!!

*edit* ill still take the award.

My Porsche and BMW came with PZero tires and they rode like they are made of cement. Everyone in those forums hate them and prefer Michelin. I also found Michelin was much better. My Mustang GT Premium convertible has the standard 18" PZeros and they are a lot better riding than the versions I had on the Porsche and BMW.

Were they run flats? I agree that the factory 18 all seasons ride just fine.

The problem is Pirelli did themselves no favors by marking multiple different tires under the same PZero umbrella. F1 runs PZeros, I have IMSA slicks that say PZero. My GTI had PZero Nero and they were hideous. The PZero Corsa (80 rating) were good enough in warm weather on the EB/PP. The 15-17 PZero AS tire supplied to Ford is a lousy tire as many can attest. Not all Pirelli nor PZero are bad, it's just that any down-market OEM tire supplied by Pirelli has a very good chance of being shit.
