What did you do to your GT350 today?

Great video and great ideas... I do most of what is in that video with the exception of the wheel dollies and the plastic cover. I was going to order the plastic cover, but then I read horror stories of guys having the plastic retain moisture and stick to the paint...not sure if a non-breathable material is good for semi-long term (4 months) storage.
I'd love to do the wheel dollies, but that would require a jack, which I would normally not use a lot... maybe in the future though...

dollies are really only worth it for making extra space, i.e. pushing the car up against a wall/tight spot, or if you want to be able to move the car around for detailing. ive used the plastic covers for years and never had a moisture issue. they aren't air tight so air can still move underneath them. as long as you are controlling the moisture inside the storage area there should be no issue with moisture getting into the car. if youre concerned with that a moisture absorbing tub that you can put inside the car from home depot is like $5.

I saw a tip from a guy on YouTube (don’t blast me). I think it was AutoFantic. Run the battery tender wire through the fender vent, it works out really well.. better then crawling under the car or leaving the hood cracked because of the wire.

That looks painful. You can run it between the gap in the headlights and the fender and close the hood with no problem. Will take a picture later.

Edit: Post below has picture. Been using the same technique for years and couldn't imagine threading the cord through the fender vent every time I want to plug in the tender.

Yep, you'll need the ones below which are almost 13" wide to clear the rear meats if you've got an R.

thanks for the heads up. If I am not able to get the car out of the garage Monday for the tire swap appointment I'll be ordering a set of these so I cam move around the car in our 2 car garage... and then I'll have the room to use the floor jack and take 2 wheels at a time for the tire swap.

10 mile trip to local Kunes Ford in Delevan, Wisconsin to have the splitter installed, swaps Cup2s for PS4Ss, and install gorilla black lugs.

Cannot say enough about the experience and the tech. They were totally cool we me hanging around the car bullshitting with the tech (Mike K.) while he works on the car. When I ordered the tires from the dealership I asked the parts guy for some intel. Mike is in to building drag engines. I was probably most interested in the Pontiac overhead cam straight six “Sprint” engine he built. Dude even went as far as to install new "shoes" or (whatever the part is called) on the Hunter Revolution tire machine because he wanted to be sure the job was done well. Anyway, am much more at ease now knowing that I have a dealership and a tech they I can trust with the HEP R.

BTW, with PS4S, 10mm smaller (295 front, 305rear) I already notice less tramlining. No doubt combination of less aggressive and smaller tires.
Good God the car is so much better looking with the black lugs. Although the tech was not thrilled with the contact surface also being coated. He recommended check at 100 and 500 miles at 150 ft/lbs.
and with that I wished Mike a merry Christmas as it will likely be the 500 miles oil change that will bring me in next.

BTW... I will be keeping the Cup2s for the warm weather months up here in the land of cheese.

These PS4S seems to have a lot more treads then the CUP2.... Are the PS4S more of a sports tire versus the CUP2 being a track tire

I've heard mixed reviews as far as the MPSS 4S as a track tire. As an all purpose road tire they are fantastic. I am also bummed that they do not make these in the 35 stock height of the GT350.
These cars are already low enough and have issues with scraping.
I ended up swapping out the Cup2's on my 2019 with the standard MPSS, but they are getting harder to find and word is they are eventually going to be phased out. Why Michelin won't make the 4s in 350 stock sizes is frustrating....
