Trying to look up videos in regard to performance. All I see are installation and sound for using the GT350 on our Coyotes. So are the power benefits good and are there other options other than getting the GT350's manifold?

I am interested to see some before and after dyno sheets.

There are a ton of posts about this around the forum. Do some searching. If you want a lot more torque, get a truck manifold. If you want max power, Cobra Jet. If you want the best of all worlds, ported 2018 manifold.

Holy haha. You really suggesting he put a truck manifold on his 18 GT ? Ported intakes are a huge waste of money for HP gained from the usual suspects.

I posted this reply in another thread a couple of days ago.

I’ve just gone down this route.. Had the PP2 install for a few years on my 2015 GT. wanted a bit of extra, especially in the rev range extension.
I installed the GT350 Intake manifold and had a local tuner make a full Dyno with HP tuners tune.
Realized almost 40 HP increase @ 6800 rpm and extended the rev range to 7500.

I haven't taken the car on track yet for a comparison of gear changes and lap times, but I'm expecting to hold gears longer and fuller through sections of the lap.

Dyno runs, before and after below..
Bear in mind, this is going from PP2 install for the curves.

Thats a real nice gain and no real loss in torque.

The 18 truck manifold has slightly shorter runners than the 17, it also has more runner volume. I'm close to testing a 18 truck manifold on a 17. I think it will outperform the 17 GT manifold all the way through the RPM range.

My sim program likes it, now to see if the real world agrees.

Keep us posted on that I'm interested myself on how it turns out thanks

I've been curious about this since getting my '19 F150 and eyeballing its intake versus my '15 Mustang's. My gut feeling is that it would be better through most of the rev range, and still match the '15-'17 Mustang unit up top assuming a stockish max RPM.

Be sure to start a new thread.

If it only was so easy. Crazy how you figured this out, yet Ford or other tuners like AED, PBD or Lund still haven't.
it ain't rocket science, & not on there agenda. You want it, pay for a custom session or bring it to a dyno and get it tuned.

That's pretty helpful. However, mine is a 2016 base model. I am also curious of the power packs decrease reliability. It is not my daily, but still (my daily is a 250cc).

If he wants torque have the IMCV kick in sooner and hold longer. Boom torque.
Have you seen how small the opening is on these when closed?

You may be on to something but you would have to modify the flaps with a larger opening.
