Zero here as well. Does Levittown have a blck Friday / cyber Monday deal? Need a deal on some FP shocks/struts. Otherwise didn't see anything of "I gotta get that" type of deal.

I'm in it for about $8,300 in car parts this week. Procharger stage 2 tuner kit with P1X & big red, Jackal Jr fuel system, Steeda Lightweight front bumper bar, & CM components rear seat delete. Still need fuel injectors & tuning!
Zero: I didn't see any deals good enough for me to buy now

I bought Steeda's jacking rails, STH kit, and alignment kit; Velossa's big mouth; a wicker bill; and Lethal's HH pipe. And, not on sale, but some snow tires so I can continue to drive this thing through the winter. May be adding on extended studs and slip-on spacers if I can get the info I need before the sales are off.

So looking at a couple grand, which is more than I had planned, but oh well.

Why does everyone think holiday sales or any sales for that matter are a true savings?

That “10% off” is typical marketing ploy for reeling in Customers everywhere - in fact legendary....

Ever see a “Going out of Business” sale? Or “XYZ Holiday Sale” Or “Black Friday this or that” sale?

Black Friday or (insert any holiday sale here) is the same sales tactics (fact) that holds true for the common “Going Bankrupt” or “Going Out of Business” retail shops - the “discounted” price is nothing more than:

Regular price:$100.00
Going out of Business/Bankrupt price: $200.00
Discount: 50% off
Discounted Price: $100.00
Whoohoo - you saved absolutely NOTHING.

Typically, if you're not watching - the “sale” is usually the regular price marked up by X%, then when the Customer sees the sale - they buy on impulse and take the X% off.. bringing down the discounted merchandise to regular price....

No BS.

So watch a favorite item you’re thinking of buying from ANY vendor (NOT just automobile vendors, ANY vendor) - price compare it to ANY other vendor. Usually the price is within a few bucks, say $1-$10 depending on the value of the merchandise. Now watch when there is a sale... see if that regular price was bumped up OR if the price remained the same and you can truly take off the X% to getting a deal.

Oh yea, one more thing... watch it on such sales too - because the other ploy is, the price remains the same during sale event with X% off but then they play with the SHIPPING FEE... sometimes what was “free shipping” is no longer free, OR it is exorbitant or bumped X% higher.

Most of the times this is true. Companies like Steeda truly discount the parts they make. I logged in to a popular suppliers BF deal on a Procharger, and it was the same $6,220 as it was a week , month, and 2 months before. Even after calling I was told that 8.5% was the BF price. I checked with another newer vendor, and his regular non BF price was $6,103. I ordered it there, sale or not, it was time to boost this thing! Since then the first vendor dropped about $100 more, but still higher than the smaller guys regular price. The other things I bought I actually got some nice discounts on.

Spent 350$ on an 18 intake manifold. Now I just need to find a good deal on some catted headers.
Let me know what you find! 😝

Will you port the IM?
