I'd rather have security hardware in place than not. I'd venture to guess most don't carry security bits around such that they have the right one come stealing time.Only the only problem with that is, you can buy a security bit set from Harbor Freight for $10
Yes, and you have to rotate the security screws to different patterns every few days, lolI'd rather have security hardware in place than not. I'd venture to guess most don't carry security bits around such that they have the right one come stealing time.
Ya know, with that Gurney Flap costing so much, maybe we should use security hardware on those bolts as well....I'd rather have security hardware in place than not. I'd venture to guess most don't carry security bits around such that they have the right one come stealing time.

Perfect — thanks. Not sure how I missed that!I think everything should be here... https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...ment-gurney-screws.137740/page-6#post-2895175
I can certainly see that, Tob and I suppose it shouldn't surprise me one bit knowing where that airfoil started originally. I'm going to have to look this one up, but I'd be curious to know when the first one was used.I don't, other than knowing has a much wider range of adjustment than the 2 position CFTP wing.
New hotness is wheels gone, NO blocks.
Thieves these days. So darn cheap.
This was the 1st time I had met this lady, She lived in apartment complex and car sat in parking lot. She woke up on a Sunday morning and had discovered it on blocks. The blocks were landscaping blocks that every used for doing flower beds and walls.Sure makes me sick to my stomach seeing the photo even if it's a generic Mustang, Jim. I SO dislike thievery and thieves.
I need to have that thought more often when I'm out with her, too although I never leave her out of sight...well, almost never.
Cheap thieves...they probably steal the concrete blocks, break them up into pieces JUST large enough to do the job but, easily carry, then leave the rocks behind. Probably get at least two or three cars out of one block that way...efficient. <shaking head>
