Hey @Roadway 5.0 I can't tell who's strut is the more rusted, yours or mine? LMAO
I wouldn't - with disconnected bar, move it downwards and it will hit front subframe - when you make link too long, that's what is going to happen. Unfortunately this is the problem with aftermarket links (and stock ones bend easily with stiffer bars) - they don't fit on the outside of the bar since the distance to strut isn't large enough - I mounted it on the inside and put spacers (washers initially and then a nut - I even posted a size in one of the threads here on what the size is - I think it was M12/1.25 for a Steeda link) to offset link away from the bar.Could I also adjust the end links (make them longer) out to help mitigate the angle?
so a slip-on shim of about 6mm thickness would do the trick, yes? Paging Steeda Engineering...I even posted a size in one of the threads here on what the size is - I think it was M12/1.25 for a Steeda link) to offset link away from the bar.
I had thought about washers tooI wouldn't - with disconnected bar, move it downwards and it will hit front subframe - when you make link too long, that's what is going to happen.
