I love turns but I also love going fast in the rest of the track. DCT is the way to go.... Hell, Chevy offers the A10 in the ZL1 1LE....Not if you like turns its not.

They did in the LE50TH but obviously it was more of a cruicing car and not a track car but the car had the full Performance Package setup. Chevy offers it in the 1LE..... Points to Chevy.Ford didn’t put the 6R80 in the PP1 and doesn’t put the 10R80 in the PP2. I’m sure there’s a reason for it. Do you really think they didn’t test the A10 in the car? Anyway the cars not coming for another 8-9 months so maybe there will be a change by then.
As far as the DCT, martinjlm just addressed that, but seriously a lot of you are griping about a price we don’t even have yet but you want a hugely costly DCT. Talk about smoking the pipe at both ends.
remember the Handling Pack is like a RS package on the GT3 car and guess what?, the RS is only PDK cause is faster....Unless you're getting paid for it, can't agree. Manual for fun and involvement over the few tenths of a second a lap it'll save every time.

do you like looking at others tail lights?Do you get paid to drive on track?
Bet you didn’t get the Bullitt either. Just a green GT, right? And that’s OK, this cars not for you.I don't get why someone would buy one just for the name
Not bashing, I'm just not a FORD nut rider. I liked the bullitt, I just don't like this rebadged bullitt. Same bullitt engine, no DCT which woulda been a game changer. You can do more while spending way less money with a BASE GT. All you're doing is buying a diff cooler, new nose, MACH 1 badging, everything else is parts bin at a stupid markup + a we know it's coming dealer markup. But hey, if that's your cup of tea, sell ur car and buy the MACH 1, or just go buy a MACH 1.Why do people feel the need to bash other people for liking the car?
Could be a capacity thing. I’m pretty certain that the main reason Camaro only offered the 10AT in the ZL1 for a couple years was because they had not ramped up to full capacity and most of the capacity was aimed at truck$.I guess I'd say the problem is it's a bit of a mixed message. So the Mach I with or without the HP has all the coolers, big brakes, additional coolers for the A10 over the GT/GT+PP, plus the general marketing message seems to emphasize handling. Over in the GM camp, they're adding the A10 to the SS 1LE, the ZL1 and the track focused ZL1 1LE are both available with an A10 today.
The last thing I'd add, are the folks at HPDEs who are tracking the GTs with the A10, and they're running solidly (I know a buddy of mine has definitely added some extra coolers, not sure if his tranny is stock).
I guess my point is: in an era of track positioned cars being offered with an automatic (and a joint GM / Ford designed product at that), it seems __super__ short sighted to not offer - and design to be effective on track - the A10 with the HP package.
Are you racing wheel to wheel ? (rhetorical question, don't bother answering but it's nice to make it sound like you do on the internet). No one will buying this car for actual racing, and for track days/HPDE/Time Trials (which are supposed to be fun), I will choose manual every single time.do you like looking at others tail lights?

I didn't buy my GT as an investment. So frankly I don't give a schitt. At the end of the day today and at the end of the day in 20 years the base GT
