Hey all! New to this thread. I’ve had two Mustangs in the past (both red and V6). This weekend I’m going in to order a 2020 GT Premium. However, I’m still undecided on a few things.

1. The color. I’m between Kona blue (maybe with a white stripe) and grabber lime. My worry with Kona is that I’ve heard it’s horrible to keep clean. My worry with grabber lime is that I may get tired of just how bright it is and may want something more subtle. Anybody with either color, I would greatly appreciate your input.

2. When I test drove a few, the stock stereo was pretty underwhelming. I’m thinking the B&O upgrade is worth the $1000. Does anybody have it? Would you do it again?

thanks in advance!

I would go with the Kona with the PP2 package. I’m in Cleveland also

Do you know if Ford is currently accepting custom orders for 2020 Mustangs? I asked my local dealer and he didn't know. What information did your dealer provide to you? Thank you!

I did twister orange on my PP1, but if that hadn't been an option my second choice was the grabber lime. They're a little more "showy" but I think they're a lot of fun.

Grabber lime is a loud color that’s for sure.

I don’t really care for Kona Blue.

I've had 2 Kona blue stangs, a 2002 and a 2020. Mind as well be black, it is hard to keep clean. My 2020 had the stock stereo and it sucked. I'm now in a black Bullitt w/ the B&O and it sounds great.

I have a 19' Bullitt and my second favorite color is Kona Blue, it is sick in person! If I ended up getting a GT I was going to choose Kona for my color.

I clean my car before I drive it every single time so I wouldn't care about dirt showing on it.

I also have the B/0 sound system option and I love it. Everything sounds great and the rear sub is a really nice addition. I love my Recaros as well but living in cold Cleveland I could see why you would want stock seats with the warmers.

I readily admit I am not an audio connoisseur, but the B&O sounds very good to me.

What do you think would hide dirt better?
IMO, silver is the best for not showing dirt. Actually, white isn't too bad either. Lighter colors would be better, darker colors (black, kona, magnetic) not so much. Between the two you mentioned, grabber lime would be easier to care for. Darker colors also show paint imperfections much more. I've had three black trucks and a black car. Beautiful when washed and waxed, but it lasts about 1/2 hour. It's a second job to keep them looking good.

Didn't grabber get replaced by need for green? I'd personally rather have need for green over Kona, but Kona looks great when it's clean. But much like a black car you'll see every swirl and dirt mark on it when it's not.

Can't comment on if B&O is worth it but it's definitely better than the standard system which is just adequate.

@Nickyweg if you’re looking for something that doesn’t look dirty when dirty & a low-key appearance than my20 magnetic. Throw a black stripe on, looks pretty sharp.

correct no gabbler blue in my20. Kona blue & velocity blue are it.
