Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I was cross shopping the C8 and ultimately decided it's too early in my life for a two seater. I have two kids and a two car garage, so the idea of having to perform the driveway shuffle wasn't sitting well. My DD is a focus RS that'll become my winter beater. I guess I'll get year round storage so I can store the RS in the summer and the 350 in the winter. I put my deposit down maybe two weeks ago, when I called my local dealership originally looking to place an order for a 500. They had a $50K CAD ADM and were only putting in fully optioned build orders meaning the damned 500's were going for nearly $200K CAD. Dude told me they had an allocation and build order already put in for a 2020 350 heritage edition, so I went for it.

Since then I've been doing a lot of research and feel really validated that I made a good right decision. Specs of the car are awesome and with all the coolers and aero it's super track competent. Seeing it come within tenths of the 992 is also reassuring.

I payed $5K CAD ADM here's the additional options:

-GT350 Heritage Edition Package
-Technology Package
-Handling Package (Gurney Flap & Adjustable Strut Top Mounts)
-Vehicle Cover w/logo
-Exposed Carbon Fiber Instrument Panel
-Leather/Suede Heated

I think all-in it's $102K CAD.

I won't comment in staying stock as I had the best intentions with the RS before going full bolt-ons, meth, and tune.

I also just got my VIN on Thursday so that's promising. Hoping for delivery early July.

I ordered my vanity plate "82FIDDY", I thought it was clever :)

Congrats on the new car! Sounds great.

ADM = Additional Dealer Markup, perhaps? The CAD I figured was Canadian, but not sure about ADM. You must be an I/T guy, all about the acronyms. LOL.

That's exactly what it is :D. I've never paid MSRP for a vehicle; let alone over it. And never will :). Hey OP, did you look for a leftover '19? I know this was in the US, but where I bought my Bullitt, there was also a brand new, fully optioned GT350 for $13K+ below MSRP (from almost $84K to $70K). It's probably still there.

Wish you luck, if you stomp it on often be ready to blow some engines. Friend of mine went from a new 2016 from dealership to trading it in for a 2017 replacement when engine blown at 1500 km on the highway doing 260 km/h and then 2 more engine replacement for the 2017. Then sold it for something else and never bought another mustang. The shelby is a beautiful car but the voodoo is prone to engine failure under 8000 km most of the time is where it happens and it just sucks to loose your car for months awaiting the repair finishing.

If you can cancel your order. I highly suggest you to do so and reconsider the c8. Its hell of a machine we did full detailing on one last week with z51 package and ford aint got nothing on that car. Traction will never be an issue. And the dct shift so quick

I have some news for you ... the GT 350 IS a 2-seater. If you don't believe that, try sitting in the back seat. All its good for is a couple of grocery bags or a toy Poodle that is a double amputee. Actually, I can fit the sunshade in the back along with a couple of very small things.

You will find the GT350 is a great driver and a ton of fun. Welcome aboard the forum. Cheers!
