On one hand if there was a time for weekends to be rainy it’s while under stay at home orders. However one can only watch so much Netflix. The last three weekends, assuming tomorrow’s 80% forecast holds, have been shit.

I want to give the car a full detail and fiddle around with it and be outside. Wash, wax, clay, under the hood...any thing I can clean. Just to be outside.

I’m doing a couple days in the office a week and today was one so I decided to bust it Out of the garage and drive it. Yay?

So much for the new parts ..after work .. while driving in the rain went through some roaring water going through the street and the new front splitter ,chin spoiler and ZL1 add-ons GT 500 style fender flares ripped off in a quick second. Guess I'll be putting my roush front chin spoiler back on ... Probably about $700 - $800 in damage good way to start the weekend ..maybe I'll huff some paint in my Corona mask and go to sleep..

Man sorry to hear that. That sucks to invest in those parts and the work that it took to come off so quickly.

How do like those caliper covers? Any rubbing issues? Been debating getting them but so many mixed reviews out there.

I only have them at the rear, no rubbing issues. It only takes few minutes to put them on, i can take them out for track days easily.. IMO i wouldn't do these for the fronts

Will luckily the the bumper cover itself was not damaged..maybe now I'll take broken Drake muscle chin spoiler and use it as mold to make a carbon fiber one .

Talked to Steeda this week, Whipple gen 5 came in...talked to Cervinis this week, they still haven’t shipped my hood....talked to Project6gr this week, they said my wheels and tires should be in this week.

Out of the 3 Steeda is the only place that is always spot on with the estimates and delivery. Always! As far as Project6gr, I paid for my setup back in the middle of January and was told 2/3 weeks. Since then I have been told every week that they will be here “this week”, it is now getting to be a joke. Cervinis, not too worried about, as I knew that would be a 4-6 week process to have it pre-painted, so all good. Hope to have everything soon so I can have something to do during the lockdown....lol

Side note has anyone else had delivery problems with Project6gr? I mean it is crazy that every time I call they tell me they are either in stock or will be in that week. I understand things happen, but just be honest and tell me what is up, don’t lead me on....I can’t take the ups and downs...lol....I need patients maybe....
