Thanks, Mik. Didn't think of that. Guess it's time for an old fashioned stick tire gauge. After a first drive - 3 hours home from the dealer at night with the gauges lit up vomit orange, you know as soon as we got home that had to get fixed before turning in for the night. No owners manual. Not too hard to figure out. Good on Ford for that.

Did you poke around in the top of the glove box? Ford has it cleverly hidden in there.

After about 15 seconds the alarm and the horn activated continuously until I pressed the unlock button on the fob.

I just realized today that I have 42,000 Ford Pass points with only 1500 miles on the vehicle. Wonder if they will cover the oil change that I want to do at 2000 miles and the 15w50 synthetic oil...car has Roush supercharger and that is the oil that is recommended.

I was checking the oil life % the other day. I had just finished a road trip to Washington and put 6000mi. on the car. The oil was changed before the trip. I was surprised to see the oil life was showing 40%. I had the dealer do a full service oil change and tire rotation. The car has 11,000mi. on it now. Ford Pass Points has covered 2 oil changes. I still have enough points for the next service, after that I will be doing them at home. 10qts...

Noticed the right front tire wearing more than the w. I asked the dealer to check it out. I did not know that Ford covers front end alignment for only the first 12 mos. They did a 4 wheel alignment and steering wheel centering. A slight adjustment I was told. I am not familiar with the details perhaps someone here is.

Um... did you find this to be repeatable? The only time this ever happened to me was when I reached inside the window to open a locked door without the fob in my pocket.

This is not a feature. Something triggered the alarm sensor, probably a large bug that flew in through the open window or something.

1. yes, just because it might be only 60 degrees outside, the engine has still been off for 5+ hours and should allow for the lubricants to move about before driving hard IMO.
2. my 2012 focus without any bells and whistles did not have dimming gauges

it is very possible that I am wrong, however, mine was an SE and no special gadgets at all, including no cruise control. Doesn't matter, I am happy with my 2019 Mustang now. Has all the bells and whistles a Bullitt could come with. Happy Driving.

The focus had CC, too. it was just disabled by the as-built data.
For a while in the 80's and 90's the popular dimming method was to twist the trip odometer reset stem. It was almost one step up from twisting the headlamp plunger.

I had a 2005 SES Focus. 2 dr. Hatchback, manual, sunroof, in a metallic orange.
