Sounds like you are "conrecting my speeling", so you just lost your arguement.

My point was is merely that there were "track" times more than just VIR times. So 0-60, etc were also "track" times. So someone flames my post over that. But a "track" no matter how long is a track, where legal racing is done, times are recorded and kept is a "track".

We are all aware of this, but as I stated previously, the article was focused on how the two cars compared on a road course. But you and others want to try and shift the focus from that area to other metrics that are included with the article.

These are mag test, not record breaking testing. Show me a mag test where gm cars have roll cages.

I can show you time and time again, GM cars failing miserably in magazine reviews, and viola', GM test engineers invite them back to retest with the "same" car and "minor, non-performance enhancing" changes in order to get a favorable review..

it's not like there aren't race shops near tier 1 tracks. What's so hard for magazine tests to take all their cars down to the alignment shop and measure everything before they start?

So are we to conclude that despite a century in business GM's public relations team can't be arsed to track the configuration of their press fleet, and too stupid and cheap not to send test engineers to the site to lend assistance? And only after they get panned do they go ask for a do-over after they do what they should have done in the first place? Or is the mere invitation to a free re-test sufficient to bribe the "journos" to write an "updated" review that is more favorable?

And not even the brand new C8 Z51.. The rallying call is for the yet to be announced Z06 which is probably 18-24 months away, Some of these guys are going to have a rough couple of years...

The Z06 is supposed to come out in 9 months. But the way I look at it, the ZL1 has been killing the GT350 since 2017 for over 2 years. So Ford is just now catching up. And Ford guys were saying, "oh, but the ZL1 has 124 more HP!" so should win and it did.
