Every single C8 1/4 mile time published has been from "pre-production" cars.

Then the whole test comparison is a scam. It means nothing except for publicity to sell magazines or weekly show subscriptions or for someone to argue over that their car is better. Not that it is faster, is that it is "better". It sounds better or looks better or smells better or it is how it makes someone "feel". Nothing to do with times. Like most of MT H2H comparisons.

I find when they start correcting grammar. They’re done. Who gives AF? If every little word is typed out correctly. Or every comma and period is in its correct place. It’s the F#$kin inter webs. They get the point. This is the universal signal for the debate was lost.

You should, but that is EXACTLY what you are getting. These publishers are in the business of making money and create content that drives interest. Not unlike cable news.

Both the C8 and Gt500 are outstanding performance cars for the money. I have a C8 on order. But would cancel the order in a heart beat to buy a GT500 with the technology package at MSRP. Am still actively searching for a new 2019 Z06 for the "deal of the decade".
Isnt it great we have so many choices?

Man there are some delusional people in here. I can't even fathom why you folks are defending Ford for not participating in competition that essentially everyone has agreed to being the gold standard.

I'm pretty disappointed in GM for not posting up their zr1 times, so what if they didn't hit their mark.

The c8 times are impressive, although a gt500 would easily smash them on the ring.
