you really think Ford sent the GT500 with handling package and not do any adjustments?
It is the height of fanboism to think they didn't have it setup for this test. Every manufacturer does to some degree or another. Or like coughFerraricough they just don't let their cars be in these tests.

I'm unsure who you think I am and I have no idea what you are talking about, but you keep being you as they say. (A very jealous/insecure person that trolls a bunch of forums of cars he wishes he could afford).
1. ya gotta come up with better material. 2. I dont hide behind fake names. Your little bitch ass knows its me. When im taking shots! Thats why I type in blue.
Keep hiding sunshine. I expect nothing less from you.

Both over 4k still. Base 41XX and CFTPPPTT 4k, Interesting one of the leading aftermarket parts of Mustangs says 42xx as do most every other source. This is the lightest I've seen reported, but still 4k for both variants is crazy heavy.

It'll be interesting to see when customers get theirs what they come in at on the scales.
And yet, it's still not 42XX lbs.

And here is one on the scales. Even it the fuel tank were empty, it's still not 42XX lbs.

And as heavy as they are, the still kick the crap out of the C8 in both real 1/4 mile testing (dragstrip) and around the track.

I honestly have no idea who you are talking about, I've owned two GT350s in the past and have an extensive post history here in that forum. But, considering the intelligence level of your posts here over the years (and in the GT350 subforum), I'm not at all surprised you are confused.

I have an extensive post count on c6 also. You give yourself away when you say shit like I post in the 350 section. Nice try dumbass. Now sing one of your Dr. SEUSS rhymes for me.
I don't have that much on C6 and have never talked to you there. I was mainly active on BimmerPost for years as I've had more M3/4s than either Ford or my lone GM purchase in the last 30 years. Again, do some research as you look like the idiot you always are/wherever you are.

And 9s, like 9.97 in your sig is what you are bragging about? I'd edit it to say barely 9s.

Again, interesting CJ and many others haven't updated their specs. As a road tracker 4k plus is damn heavy. Hell 38XX is as I said for my ZLE and 3600 for the Vette. It is unfortunate everything is going that way.

N/A vs Supercharged. Why not compare the GT500 to a Miata?

Wait for the Z06 or ZR1 before making such comparisons. Not to take anything away from either amazing car but lets get serious here.
Dollar vs Dollar = Fair Match up.

That isn’t a base tho. He added the Recaros which are lighter then the power with heated/cooled seats.

I haven't checked in here in awhile and I'm amused to find the same ol back and forth. There is no way in hell I'd by either of these for a couple of years, especially for the money they are asking (especially for the GT500/ADM). I log in and the first thing I see in the GT350 section is 2020 GT350 needs a possible new motor thread. The GT350 has been a reliability disaster in many ways and not just with the well publicized Voodoo issues. I wouldn't trust Ford that they've changed their internal culture around that they now care about quality/reliability with the GT500. So one will have the pleasure of dealing with shitty Ford dealers and their ADM games, then the car breaks down and the new customer has an even more infuriating time with the crappy service department that hasn't been trained properly to take care of the car. Geezus, new GT350 splitters are still being installed incorrectly five or so years in. Chevy isn't much better, but a little in my experience.

As for all of the talk of lap times are pointless for almost everyone in this thread (including me) as they aren't attainable by us. Also, are you really going to pay 100k and up after ADM for your brand new GT500 and really go the 10/10ths needed to get these lap times (again even fewer here)? I know I leave some on the table as I like to leave the way I arrived at the track with the car in the same condition. These cars are within the time of it being a drivers race for us above average, but nowhere near pro level driver these times were attained by.

Also, almost twenty grand to gain a half of second for the CFTP pack over the base GT500, but people here are complaining about a track alignment being expensive? Plus the consumables for such a heavy car? I thought my ZL1 1LE was a pig at 38XX, but 42XX for the GT500 is mind blowing to me. I'll give Chevy credit that at least they are trying to go the other way with weight and are still offering manuals in most of their from what I can tell.

Last, I'm not the biggest interior guy, but 100k roughly gets you a Fusion shift knob and some CF (etc) parts thrown in to an otherwise S550 interior?

No thanks, carry on bickering here by people that most can't afford these cars and even fewer that can drive them to their potential. :like::rockon::crazy::giggle:
Somebody’s rattled.... Yep when a base Mustang GT500 beats Chevys halo revolutionary sports car you get people all kinda rattled and upset..

Your just another fanboy, every forum has them, but this place is by far the worst/filled with them.

But a base should be heavier.
The 4080 pounds in the video was with like 2 gallons of fuel.
With a full tank and the regular seat it is around 4170.
