And the reason is: because there is zero way to prove that the decision to make this investigation into Biden's activities in the Ukraine where politically motivated vs national security motivated. The only way to prove this would be to read Trumps mind. I am not saying that he did it for either reason, he may well have done it strictly for political reasons, but as with many things, intent matters, and since we haven't figured out how to read minds, we can only go by the stated intent.

You don't have to hear it directly from a criminal's mouth or read their mind to make a case of their intentions. If that was the case, hardly anyone would ever be convicted of a crime in a court of law. Lots of people go to jail based on a strong circumstantial evidence.

There's plenty of evidence from the 17 people testifying under oath, documented emails, texts, and phone calls to show what was clearly going on. Even Pres Z said he didn't want to be a political pawn involved with US politics. He was smart enough to see what was going on. Pres Z was elected to get rid of corruption in the Ukraine and then Trump tries to drag him into a scheme of corruption. Isn't that ironic as hell.

So no, the whole impeachment road is not pure bullshit.

And like I said, Trump, Rudy and others involved (that have refused to testify during the House hearings) will never be called and allowed to testify in the Senate trial because the Reps know there is great potential that more damning evidence will be uncovered.

What's actually the real sham is how Trump and his brainwashed spineless administration is trying to use smoke and mirrors to fool his base. Nobody else is fooled by his lying and constant BS statements that sound like a broken record.

What it is going to take is pain though. We are in a golden era of man kind. Free money has covered up overspending problems. Free money pushes hard decision into the future. Politicians love the future. That’s where their promises live.

Something is coming down the pike at the end of the year. Fed just committed to buying 500 billion in reverse repos at the end of the year. That’s on top of the 200+ they have already printed. That’s 700+ billion in non QE for no reason. They don’t even know what is going on. It looks like some big banks are failing.

I don’t know what going to happen but some very respected people have been sounding the alarm.

I guess you're not too familiar with how the courts work. You seem to ignore all the testimony of 17 people, some of whom where direct eye witnesses to people involved in the scheme. Texts and emails documenting things, testimony from people hearing and talking to people involved. If all that same evidence was against some average Joe in a court of law he'd most likely be convinced. But the Reps want to hear it from their leader's mouth, or hook up a machine to "read his mind" before they believe anything. Like I said before, Trump and others involved could come right out and confess to doing it all that the TZs still wouldn't believe it.

The right to refuse subpoenas by the executive branch only comes into effect when revealing information would impair governmental functions. What functions of government would be impaired (beside impeachment hearings) if info from the executive branch was given? This could be a "catch-22" scenario.

The White House counsel for the president or his lawyers to take part in the public impeachment hearings was declined. Anyone, including Trump, were invited to testify in the House hearings. NOBODY came from the Rep side. Instead, they sent a letter saying they would not participate - formal letter is on-line and easy to find.

Statements made by Trump AFTER he knew the whistle blower blew his cover. People always ignore the timing and context of events. Of course he's going to try and cover it - and has been ever since the whistle blower brought it to the surface.

Pres Z of course is going to say there was "no pressure" after that ... you think he's crazy enough to say Trump pressured him knowing what the ramifications of that would lead to. Pres Z even said at one time that "he didn't want to be a pawn caught up in the politics of the USA". He sees corruption he didn't want to get into, especially right after he's elected based on his mantra of fighting corruption in the Ukraine.
