So I spent $29.96 for my homemade catch can. Looks pretty good I think. I got my parts from tractor supply and AutoZone for the hoses. Used the quick connects from the stock line. The can itself is made to flow in one direction, and has a built-in filter. It's used for farm chemical sprayer's I think it's going to work pretty good.

That is awesome.

Let us know how it works once you have some miles on it. Would love a DIY project like that.

That is very cool. Please do a DYI post with p/ns and instructions. We need more hands on modifiers like you.

Nice!

I'm about to re-install my Mishimoto, had it on my '16, pulled it to trade, has it posted to sell for a couple of weeks because it had red hoses (new car is orange :D), but I wound up keeping it and I score a generic 48" hose and clamps, from Mishimoto on Amazon for like $8! (they don't sell the kit hoses separately).

So I'm going to be semi-DIY'ing it, at least in terms of the hoses - I think the radiator bracket will work on the '19 as well, but if not, I may just hang it out there like yours.

Can you please link us to the hose kit?

If it works as good as it looks you have a real winner! :) And at a great price!

Awesome! Love to see guys doing their own thing and getting away from the cookie cutter mentality that has come about with these cars! Entirely too many times have I seen the exact same mods on a line of mustangs at car shows and the drag strip.

Hopefully the plastic can handle the heat, I know my catch can gets pretty hot

Lol! With all the plastic under the hoods of modern cars, that’s probably not an issue.

Great DIY tech thread and definitely put up a parts list to help others.
