Went to Hobbylobby and found a glass jar with a cork for $2.97
Walmart for two plastic catchup dispensor bottles.
Clear packing tape and some note paper for the scale with fill lines.
The water fill line needs to be enough to force the mix of water and ethanol to seperate out from the gasoline. I figured about 1 part water to 2 or 3 parts e85 would do it.
Mark off ten increments for fuel on the lined note paper, about three or four below the bottom. -0- line is for water.
I put two drops red food coloring in the water bottle
As long as the bottle you are using is a straight sided container, the percents will be accurate. The amounts are not important, just filling to the water line and fuel line accurately. Caseys e85 came in at 78 percent( shown).
Coburns, which has e30 e50 and e85 came in at 83 percent. Note how that food coloring left a red scum line on top of the gas.
I need to find a way to keep the alchy from smearing the markings.
