You got to put these videos in perspective. It's like motor trends 9 million wheel horse powered C8 dyno run. But only traps 122 at the strip??? There is more to the numbers. Than this random video indicates. And if you dont know anything about drag racing. You might be disapointed by this video. But then again.You probably dont even know what DA is?

i completely agree it’s not that this isn’t a bad ass car. The issue is it’s so late to the game it’s already dated, it’s no faster than a red eye in a straight line. We will see with track results if it’s all worth it

Definitely something not right here with this elapsed time and trap speed.

Either substantial traction issues at this track or driver inexperience or a combination of both.

Looking forward to some official performance numbers very soon with an experience driver and/or proper track conditions!

No, 3500DA and spinning does. You won’t grip on stock tires FBO on e85.

Ive got my weather station, vbox +dragy, a and gopro ready to go.

We all know its about traction.
I am not so much concerned with ET since we are on street tires, I am concerned with that mph.

I will do my best to walk the track prior to racing and showing how good or bad the prep is, so we can have it in context, as well as check amd adjust tire pressures-if allowed.

Ive asked everyone i know who is there or has a source there, and no one is talking, only jasons source and that photo- BUT i cannot confirm their trustworthiness as thats the same source that sent me the 666hp DJ dyno


My personal opinion is they are sandbagging, or at least im hoping.

What lol i was talking about the red eye ZF 8 speed vs the tremec DCT in the gt500. I doubt the DCT has any major advantage in the 1/4, i just through out 3 or 4 tenths as an example

Not worried much about this time at all. Poor track conditions, it happens.
The TVS 2650 blower has already been 8.7's on a 18 GT. Couple that blower with this new predator motor which is built to sustain more power then a coyote plus the top end is a lot more efficient as well then a coyote.
Once some shops have these cars in their hands I bet we'll start seeing insane numbers with them.

Actually, they ran 11.80-11.60 at 126-128 mph making Hero runs in perfect conditions, they definitely didn't run low 11s.

There were 2 members of another forum that got an 11.25 and an 11.38 out of stock cars.

Granted I wouldn't call that the norm.

Also... keep in mind this is a press launch with a variety of journalists, some with little-to-no drag racing experience, at Las Vegas (non-sea level). All it can say is stay tuned!
