While waiting for a word on a senior forum, if someone starts a thread that is for seniors, maybe prefix the title with senior:

That will make it easy to move them into the senior forum if it happens and make them easier to search for, etc. if forum never happens.

Being we are older and hearing is sometimes sensitive or diminished in way. Who is running stock exhaust, or catback/axle back etc.. for more noise?
I put an axle back on my V6. I liked the sound when accelerating but found I have no tolerance for drone cruising down the highway. I put a stock GT catback on it for now. No drone and sounds better than stock V6 but too quiet. If I had a 15-17 GT I'd want it louder than stock because the V8 noise is so pleasing. :) The active exhaust on the 2018+ seems perfect.

Exhaust sound on the '18 is quite loud enough when the throttle is opened; after a certaIn road speed and RPM is reached the tailpipe sound pretty much gets lost in the wind, tire, and other mechanical noises. Except if the back seat backs are down, when the rumble is pronounced, even obtrusive.

I've been a drive-by-ear guy, listen-shifting rather than looking at the tachometer. My first Mustang, a V6 2006 had a notoriously stuffy exhaust, and I put a GT muffler on it, then the Ford Performance dual exhaust, which was satisfactory in every way. I recorded it a few times, and still enjoy the sounds, which I think are more musical than the V8's. If you'll scan ahead to about two minutes in this video, you'll be able to hear how sweet it is, especially on the overrun, which sounds like a racing Porsche to my ear.

I have a stock exhaust and even though it sounds nice from inside the cabin, I do desire a nice axle back while retaining the stock resonator. It will happen this summer.
Worst case scenario I can always put the stock mufflers back on if I dont like it.

Did we ever determine what age a senior is? Hope its not 55...My California Special has black wheels. Not a fan at first, was trying to find some foundrys or the newer optional wheels that are silver and 5 spoke but gave up on that search and just decided that since my CS wheels are unique, I left them on and had the rears widened, like a lot of others with the same wheel. They have definitely grown on me. But if I was buying wheels, black would be one of my last choices.
