As @TexasRebel said, go under search and type bluetooth, you should see "Bluetooth and other device settings" (Windows 10). If you don't, there are issues. It might just be that there hasn't been a pairing done between the BT device and the laptop. Post back with what we've asked you. Also, if not windows 10, list what OS you have.

It's on Windows 7. The only thing that comes up in the search box is 'bluetooth file transfer' and there is a bluetooth suite that I downloaded last week. I've tried to get it to see my iPhone and the OBD device multiple times with no success.

I may just wind up buying a newer smaller one that is faster than this one anyways. It's too slow when trying to do datalogs for a tune.

did you Google the model# check the specs, I had issue where the laptop I have(old laptop acquired for $25 from employer) led me to believe it had bluetooth because of light on front panel and preloaded software but turned out on some Dell models it has a option for a Bluetooth module that plugs into a compartment in the bottom of the laptop. it was a quick fix purchasing a $6 USB Bluetooth adapter.

Yeah I think it will work if I buy one of those modules. I may just do that since they're so cheap, worth a shot I guess.

I just recently installed forscan and have been playing with it and reading up following the threads. I've got a '18 GT and replaced my original 18" wheels/pirelli tires with 19" w/255/40r19 michelin ps4s which are the oem ford size. I have not warning lights or any issues but when I went thru the forscan program for the first time, under the "dtc" icon this one line had error, "DTCs in ABS:c0078:00-68"
The description is:
Code: C0078 - Tire Diameter

Status:

- Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request

- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

- Test not complete

Module: Antilock braking system

Freeze Frame :

-GLOBTIM: 24024261 sec - Global real time

-TOTDIST: 13738.0 km - Total Distance

-MAINECUV: 13.00 Volt - Main ECU voltage supply

-OUTTMP: 14 °C - External Temperature From Sensor

-POWER_MODE: Running - Power Mode Status

-ABS: Inactive - ABS

-AYC: Inactive - AYC

-BTCS: Inactive - BTCS -201D

-HDC: Inactive - HDC

-RSC: Inactive - RSC

-BTC: Inactive - BTC

-VAC_BST_ST: Inactive - Acti

rve Vacuum Booster State

-BST_REL_SW: Inactive - Booster Release Switch State

-HYD_PMP_ST: Inactive - Hydraulic Pump State

-VPWR_ABS: 13.00 Volt - Module supply voltage

-VSS: 32.0 km/h - Vehicle Speeds

I'm thinking this has to do with the wheel/tire change but since this was the first time I don't know what it was originally. Not sure what to do about it at this time. Any info apprediated.
Thanks

It sounds like your laptop may not have bluetooth...I'd google the model and check the specs. If not, an external bluetooth adapter would work, or a new laptop obviously.

Has anyone figured out how to disable Hill Start Assist in Forscan?
Why not just turn it off?

It's probably not going to be an option in Forscan since they all come standard with it

Is there a way to set the default audio source so I don't get sent back into AM-Radio land?

Just put in on FM next time before you turn on Bluetooth. Then it'll be on FM any time you aren't on Bluetooth (unless your car battery dies)
