First rip at the track this year and first time with PBD tune /3.625 pulley/DW400 and BAP/E85
Disabled advace trac using toggles and ran in D/drag mode but torque management kept knocking timing down every shift . Made 2 passes . Went 10.17@137 with street set up and 10.0@139 with ET R’s and skinnies up front
Kind of dissapointed as was expecting high 9’s @140+ as I went 10.2@138 last year with the same pulley and whipple 93 tune(ran race gas or boostane )

Torque control readings were 16 (torque based decel ) and 7 (transmission shift modulation ). No 2’s which is traction control .
Tuner advised to disconnect plug so I did and went back few days later today. Also advised to leave at 1500 rpm (I had been leaving at 1800)

Same 60 ft but ran slower to 330, 660 and 1320 ft (same traps ) although it was hotter out today.
Torque control is still knocking down timing with same tables so called it a day after 2 passses (I should have but did not compare with plumg connected as I developed a sagging bumper)

I am hoping it’s something tuner can fix in the tune . Next time out plan on running the 3.5 pulley and race gas .

I will eventually go back to E85 when I install the JN2uning return fuel system(dual DW 400 pumps in GT 350 hat ) sitting in my storage (and use up the 30 gallons of race gas in my garage.

Top slips from today and bottom from Wednesday.

So is this a transmission issue ?

Here is a pic of the log of 10.0 pass with rpm/spark in orange and torque control in blue .

Knocks spark down on 1-2 , 3-4 and 5-6 shifts .
First time value is 26 (don’t know what that is) ,second time is 7-16 and third time 16 .

torque control for spark in-between shifts sucks, it will kill your spark advance for like a second after the shift before giving it back, this cost you time and power, which means slower ETs/trap. I have found that drag mode doesn't turn everything off like one would think, track mode seems to be the one that turns everything off

Might have to unplug the nugget with a power adder.

Seems 18+ N/A cars are fastest in drag mode but maybe to fully disable nannies with boost we need to unplug.

I might try it next time I’m out.

Had it unplugged today and it did NOT help . Actually ran slower to 330, 660 and 1320 by .1 with same 60 ft .
Ran in both drag and normal mode with almost identical times I might try it in track mode-next time out.

Is there less torque management in track mode ?

Here is a log of a pass with the old whipple tune .
It cut spark(green) only on 1-2 and 2-3 but looks much better down the track
