Are these tucked up or slightly lower than the rails to protect them? Im basically looking for 'skid plates' lol... my car is low and I want to protect the rails from scrapes over speed bumps (theres only 1 place I need to go that has a decent sized bump)

They hang down slightly protecting your vehicle over speeds bumps - they take the abuse not your car.

Do these also work without interfering with all of the other available Steeda components? (IRS braces)
Yes, they work in conjunction with our braces - that is the beauty of designing & manufacturing our parts - we can make them work in conjunction with each other!

TJ -

How do they hold up to jacking with a hydraulic floor jack - does or will the jack plate leave indentations into the boxed metal? Is the thickness similar to or exactly like the 79-95 Fox Mustang frame rails (those were pretty stout). I realize the intent is for these to not only aid in jacking points along the pinch weld, but also to ensure possible “abuse”, so any further insight is appreciated.

BTW - I have purchased and do own Steeda parts on both my 94 and 18 Mustangs (as well as past Mustang ownership). We realize there are competitors, but I really don’t care what else is available in this product slot, just looking for honesty. The price point is excellent for being boxed steel, but I wouldn’t want jacking rails that cave in under jacking point pressure and end up with ugly dented jacking rails.

They have been strength tested and proven to not dent in from jacking point pressure.

Yes, to Jigar's point - I have not personally seen or had anyone tell me otherwise - they are stout!

... snip ...

The Steeda units are 16” shorter and are CNC laser cut & formed before being welded – we use a 2” x 1” material with an 11 gauge wall (.120) that will not dent or fold like thinner materials, trust me when I say, Steeda has tested them! It is interesting to find a longer rail would have weight saving compared to the shorter unit.

Hmmmm... Mine dented the first time I jacked up the car with them. Sold them, though, and replaced with the BMR low profile. Not had any "denting" or "folding" issues with the BMR, so far, and I've used them several times. I do like the longer length when I'm working on the back end of the vehicle. Nothing against Steeda. They make some great kit. Just have had better luck with the BMR low profile jacking rails.

YMMV...
