Hi TJ, I received my parcels, Fitted the idler pulleys and water pump pulley and the hood lever, yesterday. all good
the jacking rails I will fit later, When I open the box the bolts were loose in the box, and there were only 7 ( the box had some holes in it.)
Can I use 1 of the factory bolts? as I could not find any at our local Auto stores?
Yes, we have a lot of customers that use the factory bolts - you won't have an issue.

The bolts come packaged & taped to the rails, did it look like they were jarred in transit?

In any case, sorry for the inconvenience for having a missing bolt.

Best Regards,

TJ

I like to disassemble things.
Got a surge of orders late last week for the CJR002.

Those ordering based on this thread, don't forget that you can use the code FS6KA to order these and save some cash. ;)
Done. Thanks again for the revised rails Kelly. Looking forward to adding them to my GT350.

Thanks for the support @Epiphany !

Most of my GT350 customers use our CJR001, which although heavy - are by far the best engineered Jacking Rails for the S550 Chassis.

For a super simple, lightweight and super low -profile design though, you cannot beat our CJR002!

Instead of information being gathered by other than the manufacture, here is the data from the source.

The lengths of the CJR002 are 51" and 52" - for an average of 51.5" of jacking surface area.

The weight of them as the pair, are 13.75~lbs.

Most of our customers tell us the small increase in weight over some of the other designs is well worth the much longer additional jacking surface.

Nonetheless, jacking rails from any quality company will do the trick! Flip a coin ;)

Why the difference in lengths Kelly?

Ordered the BMR low pro rails because I liked the longer length, and my original Steeda rails drag when loading into my car hauler. Went to install the BMRs and they don't work with Steeda IRS braces, maybe this has been mentioned elsewhere. BMRs are for sale.

Why the difference in lengths Kelly?
The factory bolts used to mount the rails are farther apart on one side. Since the BMRs are a full length boxed section, the length you can jack on will be different by that amount. Since Steeda just welds some extensions with bolt holes onto a shorter boxed section, the usable boxed section could be the same on both sides.

Here's a full length set designed for the Steeda IRS brace.

A couple small pieces of wood to drive over, to help prevent scraping?

Nice little review by @Epiphany

Last pic references the amount that our Super Low Profile Rails stick below the pinch welds. Many people have questioned this, so I think that picture does a great job!

Had an opportunity to get a few things done today including adding the latest "Super Low Profile" jacking rails from BMR. I've had the standard chassis jacking rails from BMR (CJR001) since my car was new and have been very happy with them. But once I lowered the car with some different rolling stock I noticed that the boxed ends of the rails were making contact with the top of my low profile scissor lift each time I drove over it. I needed to gain some clearance back, especially if I'm to use the FP springs which lower the car almost 3/4". It'll be close.

The latest rails, CJR002, are a little shorter than the CJR001 rails and the profile is much shorter as well.

The CJR001 rails hang down a bit below the pinch rail.

With the passenger side swapped to the new low profile rail and the older, CJR001 still in place on the driver side, a comparison...

Aside from the small plate welded on the end, the full length of the new rails are from 1/16" to 1/8" lower than the pinch rail, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again for offering even more choice Kelly. I'm very happy with more clearance and less weight that the CJR002 rails offer.

I've got J&M's design....which were available before BMR's Super Low Profile design were on the market.

I like the rails to be just slightly taller then the pinch welds.

I scrapped the under side of the car on a steep parking lot to street transition the other day. Rather then scrapping parts under the car...it just hit and slide on the rails.

BMR Super Low Profile design looks very very simular to J&M's. J&M's design looks to be just slightly taller.

Now I need to sell my Steeda rails, still in the factory wrap.
Tha
Also, the reason we went with a slight gap between the chassis and the rails is to prevent noise, chassis deformation and chassis creaking.
Having run the BMR's for a month or so, have you found that there is any noise or chassis creaking attributable to the BMR jacking rails?

I did use a shaving mirror and flashlight to confirm I got all the putty off.
When reviewing the installation instructions on BMR's website and comparing the CJR001 against the CJR002, I noticed that the full length CJR001 had a step to shave off the sealant; however, the CJR002 did not. Are you saying it is still required to remove sealant for the CJR002 as well?

Anybody know where I can get the CJR002 with free shipping? It is a new product and the usual outlets don't have it in their catalog yet...
