Cool, ive been in contact with car mods australia who have them on backorder. They too have little to go with, pointing to an installation guide and the item on cjpony

Yes I ordered through Car Mods 3 weeks ago as they were $100 cheaper than a few other suppliers and their shop is local for me so no exorbitant freight costs. They are having a black friday sale at the moment so you might get a better deal.

So i pulled the trigger too. Dan mentioned to me 3 weeks all up. However if you checked americanspeeds website, the pipe becomes available 7 January 2019. So my assumption is ita not yet out and right now we are preordering and wont ship until the 7th Jan?

At the time of ordering most Australian shops were saying 2nd or 3rd week of December. I spoke to Fred while he was coincidently at the Borla stand at SEMA and that is what he said as well. If that has changed we will just have to wait I guess.

In for a sound clip. I have no doubt in my mind it will have little to no performance gains at least on a stock or mildly modified car. I'm seeing more cross section in some areas but the question is velocity crossing over like that and merging with an unrestricted straight pipe. And then put that at the butt end of some equal length headers... dear lord talk about a exhaust roller coaster.

Weight savings... meh, maybe a few lbs. Definitely weighs more than a simple H pipe so I would guess no one would buy it to save weight.

Sound... that will be something interesting. Slowing down (in the sense that it has not travelled as far front to back than if it were in a straight pipe) and recombining in the opposite side that has an unrestricted channel straight through... if someone did their math right that could be a rather interesting effect. Would love to see a CFD.

No nothing yet. I ordered this pipe 2nd November and still waiting. My local Australian supplier told me recently that Borla are struggling to keep up production and this x pipe won't be ready to ship until 28th December!!!!

No news yet, I asked CMA (the seller) on an ETA and there seems to be some production issues Borla is having causing the backlog. Happy to be corrected, but I don't anyone in world has this xpipe yet.

Looking good, I have noticed that Auspost is tracking a StarTrack shipment to myself, which I think should be mine. Won't get it until perhaps Monday or some day through the week.
Might like to have a soundclip of the sound once you have it installed, before I have mine installed . I have my car booked in for the Tickford Tune and fitment of Project 6GRs on the 17th, hopefully this pairs up nicely for added power to the tune.
