Lame. With the Bullitt running the GT350 IM, TB and CAI, there is no way they can’t offer that as a stage 1 tune out of the gate. Clearly it has CARB approval. Maybe they can put out another plastic door sill or oil separator that is a ball ache to empty.
The problem is that combo is not proven to add significant power, certainly not against simply porting your 18+ mani. People would be ticked off when they gain almost no performance increase for the money spent.

If you are 18 up GT with the toggle drag modes a 93 tune is going to do very little for you. You’d get as much throwing 3-4 gallons of corn on top of 93 pump on stock tune. If you have the non toggle car then the adjustments to the a10 shifts (harder/firmer) plus the raised rpm limiter would be an added benefit. The E85 is the power maker. JMO...

Sigh. I'm guessing they are holding off until the scored cylinder walls issue is resolved.
well since this whole ticking thing has been around since 2014 its gonna be a long wait
My 18 has a pretty bad scoring on cylinder 3. Car was in on Monday. New engine ordered....

Are you saying that running on a mix of twelve gallons of 93 octane and four gallons of E85 is better than straight 93 octane on a stock engine?

It's funny you try to be ironic, then you get a straight answer with a very recent occurance of the issue mentioned by @BigBlue. Then you have some attitude, very mature buddy.
thank you , you as well

The handful of cars here isnt keeping ford from releasing anything.

Ford released the gen 3 motor as a crate motor option from frpp.

The 17 and down power packs are what
Cai and tune
Cai, tb and tune
Cai, im, tb and tune

Ok, the tb doesnt fit the 18s and the im shows almost no gains. Its possible Ford hasnt built a usable power pack with gains worth the money....

The Bullitt intake fits perfectly for the 18's. I was figuring they would do similar things this round. Filter/tune for pack 1, Bullitt intake / TB / tune pack 2, etc.

Are they ordering a new crate engine or a shortblock with a Ford tech reassembling the entire topend and frontend of the motor? Just curious.

Not sure I think it's a full complete engine. All I saw was that it stated "service engine". So think it's a crate.

I do hope that there are only a few of us impacted. Again if I would have not been persistent this would have not been detected nor fixed. Most of us here are interested in cars, engined etc I figured out rather quickly that things did not sound ok. Not sure if that is the case with majority of buyers.

Mine was one of the first in Europe and I have this issue.

By that time only 100-200 cars were sold (here in Sweden) and mine is having this issue.

Again hopefully it's nothing that do impact a large number of vehicles.

If I were you, I would be VERY glad a crate motor is coming. I dont want my motor built by a tech following an instruction sheet. Too many variables and areas to goof.

The bulllit intake is basically a revised gt350. For the cost thr gains wouldnt be there. The tb/cai/tune package is already 1000. If I'm spending the money to swap intakes I'll go custom tune anyways.
