Unless you tune it and then you get a 3/36k which starts from the day you bought the car, not when you install the tune.I picked up a Ford PremiumCare 8yr 100k exclusion based warranty and its a 10spd. Not worrying about it frankly. If it takes a dump at 50k, i get a new motor
From what I'm seeing from other vendors, I'm not really sure I'm really all that interested in a Ford tune. E85 tunes are producing some decent numbers but that is E85. I'm not sure I really trust some of the 93 octane tunes until there are more guys running them without failures. Ford's will of course be more conservative which translates to even smaller gains. Probably why they haven't released it yet, they likely didn't leave much on the table that they feel comfortable with doing. Bang for buck value will probably not be worth it for many.
